How to solve the astronomical clock puzzle in Prince of Persia The Lost Crown
The clock puzzle in Prince of Persia The Lost Crown is one of the most difficult in the game. To solve it, you will have to return the pink magic stone in three rooms nearby and set the rings on the huge clock to a certain position. The riddle will open when you reach the location "Upper Town – East" during the quest "Star Guardians". Go to the mark on the map, as in the screenshot above, and you will be taken to a location with a puzzle.
Next, we will tell you how to solve the riddles in each of the three rooms and turn the clock to the desired position.
Room 1
Go right from the big clock to reach the first room. Follow these steps to solve the first puzzle:
- Take the pink stone using the ability "Dimension Claw” and move it into the hole at the top.
- Climb onto the retractable platform in the center, grab the stone and immediately jump onto the left wall.
- Jump away from it and use the ability "Shadow of Simurth» above the place where the platform should extend.
- Place the stone in the hole in the center again.
- Teleport to the double and leave the new one as high above the platform as possible.
- Go down and pick up the pink stone.
- Teleport and throw the stone up into the hole in the ceiling.
These actions will activate yellow ring on an astronomical clock.
Room 2
Exit the first room and go downstairs - there will be an entrance to the next location. To solve the riddle, do the following:
- Leave the double on the button on the left side of the room, and stand on the pressure plate on the right.
- Wait until the platform with the pink stone reaches the end, and then teleport to the double to activate the wall in the center of the room.
- Take the stone and place it in the hole.
- Climb onto the platform where the stone originally lay and leave your double there.
- Take the pink stone, teleport and dash to the right to throw the item into the hole in the ceiling.
Now the second blue the ring is activated and you can move on.
Room 3
Return to the astronomical clock and move to the left of it to reach the third room. Follow these steps to solve the riddle:
- Place the pink stone in the bottom hole.
- Climb up and leave the double in the center, right above the stone.
- Take the pink object and place it in the upper niche in the wall.
- Take the stone and immediately teleport to the double, then throw the object into the hole in the ceiling. This must be done quickly, before the grill on top has time to close.
Last thing red the ring is activated, and all that remains is to set the clock.
Setting the clock
Solving the clock puzzle requires a little patience as you have to wait until the hands are in the right position. The riddle is solved in three steps:
- Wait until the notch on the yellow ring reaches the sun image and lights up. The moment this happens, stand on the right button.
- Without leaving the button, wait until the notch on the red ring scrolls to the image of the moon and it shines. At this point, stand up from the pressure plate.
- Now wait until the notch on the blue ring reaches the star image and it lights up. Immediately stand on the button in the center and wait until the rest of the images light up.
When you solve the puzzle, a age will open from above. Go up and go left to open the chest and get your reward "Amulet frame", which increases the number of amulets worn by 1 unit. On the right side of the location you can summon one of four constellations to complete the “Star Guardians” task.
