Morse code Telxi in Genshin Impact: how to decipher all codes

Morse code Telxi in "The Fantastic Adventures of Telxi". An intelligent mechanism that does not have a speech module communicates with arriving guests in a strange way, emitting strange signals of unknown content.

Messages are not only written in Morse code, but also encrypted in a special way, which can make it difficult to understand their true meaning. In this article we will tell you about all the hidden Telxi messages in Morse codes, and also decipher and translate them into Russian.

Where to Find Morse Code in Telxi's Fantastic Adventures

You will encounter messages written in Morse code during the course of completing quests in the event’s storyline "The Merman's Conjecture", Telxi speaks several lines when meeting the Traveler, after which several more lines appear in the event cutscene.

Decoding Morse Code in The Fantastic Adventures of Telxi in Genshin Impact

In total, during the course of completing the event tasks, you will be able to find several encrypted messages: in the remarks of the Telxi robot and in the cutscene following the completion of “The Conjecture of the Merman.” The text is written in Morse code, which when translated produces a set of Latin letters.

Seemingly meaningless combinations of symbols can also be further deciphered using the Caesar code - a special cipher that involves replacing a unit with a symbol located at a certain distance from it in the alphabet. Thus, every message seen can be decoded and translated.

Telxi's first response

Telxi's first response

During a conversation with Freminet In the temporary camp, the Traveler will meet the robotic penguin Telxi, who is able to communicate with people. However, due to the lack of a language module, the creature can only emit certain signals. Addressing guests for the first time, Telxi utters a questioning phrase. This can also be heard when trying to talk to a robot outside of a quest.

  • Original in Morse code: -.. -… .— -…?
  • Decoding of the phrase in Latin: DBWB?
  • Decoding the Caesar Code: It's okay?
  • Translation from French: How are you?

As follows from the translation of the encrypted message, Telxi greets guests and utters a greeting phrase quite common among the French.

Telksi's second response

Telksi's second response

During the further dialogue, Freminet will tell you more about the purpose of Telxi and robots like him. The robotic penguin will instantly respond to the phrase “he came to this world to be a companion.”

  • Original in Morse code: -.. .—. -. —.- -… …. — .— ..-.
  • Decoding of the phrase in Latin: DPNQBHOJF.
  • Decoding the Caesar Code: Company.
  • Translation from French: Company.

As follows from the above, Telxi understood what was being said and confirmed Freminet’s words, calling himself a “companion,” that is, a companion.

First line from the cutscene

First line from the cutscene

Upon completion of the quest, a small cutscene will play, which will lead to the event menu. During the frame change, several more encrypted phrases will be shown. The first one will appear in the frames with a portrait of Freminet.

  • Original in Morse code: - ..-. …- —
  • Decoding of the phrase in Latin: TFVM.
  • Decoding the Caesar Code: Alone.
  • Translation from French: Lonely/On my own.

This probably refers to the diagnosis of “loneliness syndrome” that the child of Zuria Destre suffers from. Also, when translating the word as “by itself,” this quality can be applied to the character of the diver himself, depicted in the cut-scene at this moment.

Second phrase from the cutscene

Second phrase from the cutscene

At the moment with the underwater buildings of the City of Penguins, where Freminet goes, a second code phrase appears.

  • Original in Morse code: … ..-. .— ..-. ...
  • Decoding of the phrase in Latin: SFWFS.
  • Decoding the Caesar Code: Dream.
  • Translation from French: Dreaming/dreaming.

Here, judging by what I heard from Madame Destre earlier, it tells about a dream that her son saw, suffering from “loneliness syndrome.”

Third phrase from the cutscene

Third phrase from the cutscene

In the final frame, in addition to the inscription in Teyvat and the Telxi icon, you can see another coded phrase.

  • Original in Morse code: -. .— … -… -.. — ..-.
  • Decoding of the phrase in Latin: NJSBDMF.
  • Decoding the Caesar Code: Miracle.
  • Translation from French: Miracle.

A miracle is what Madame Destre hopes for. Due to the rarity of the disease her child is suffering from, there is no effective cure or therapy yet, leaving the mother to try other ways to help her son.

Telxi's third and fourth lines

During the second quest "The Prince's Kingdom" Once again you will be faced with some coded phrases.

Twice during the dialogue, Telxi will repeat the line spoken earlier in the first task of the chain. Cipher “-.. -… .— -…?” means "How are you?".

Telxi's fifth response

A new replica of the robotic penguin appears twice during the quest: during the discussion of the plan in the Freminet camp and the arrival at the mermen fortress.

  • Original in Morse code: -.- ..-. ..- -… .— -. ..-. -. -... -. -... -
  • Decoding of the phrase in Latin: KFUBJNFNBNBO.
  • Decoding the Caesar Code: I love you mom.
  • Translation from French: I love you, Mom.

The phrase is probably spoken not from the perspective of the robot Telxi, but from the perspective of Madame Destre's son.

Telxi's sixth replica

After completing the quest “The Prince's Kingdom”, when talking with Telxi, you can see a new line.

  • Original in Morse code: — -… — …- ..-!
  • Decoding of the phrase in Latin: TBMVU.
  • Decoding the Caesar Code: Hello!
  • Translation from French: Hi!

Robo-penguin greets friends differently than on the first day of meeting.

Telksi's seventh and eighth lines

During the third stage of the event, you can also hear several phrases from the robotic penguin Telxi.

Among the robot’s replicas, previously discussed phrases will again appear: "How are you?" when meeting in the camp and fighting in the dungeon, as well as "I love you, Mom", which Telxi says numerous times during the Hill House scene.

Telxi's ninth replica

The robotic penguin will say part of the new phrase upon arrival in the kingdom of the mermen. He does this probably due to the absence of Madame Destre in the team.

  • Original in Morse code: -. -... -. -... -
  • Decoding of the phrase in Latin: NBNBO.
  • Decoding the Caesar Code: maman.
  • Translation from French: Mama.

Description of the decor “Prince of the Mermen”

The description of the Telxi figurine, which can be obtained upon completion of all tests of the event, also contains encrypted messages in Morse code. Although the three phrases are written separately, together they form a meaningful expression relating to the completed story of Madame Destrée.

  • Original in Morse code: - ..-. …- — … ..-. .— ..-. -. .— … -… -.. — ..-.
  • Decoding of the phrase in Latin: TFVMSFWFNJSBDMF.
  • Decoding the Caesar Code: Seul rêve miracle.
  • Translation from French: The only dream of a miracle.

The event could have been cool if it weren’t for random NPCs and in the end everything wouldn’t have devolved into: the crazy son of a mother of a dead father of the son of a crazy mother... Well, sorry, this information was presented too harshly... I don’t like events about NPCs, but I also don’t like revealing characters I’m not asking (since this is not fair for new players)... It would be possible to just have interactions between the characters... Preparing for a show with triplets, for example, cute interactions between the characters, it would be very cool for me... But this is just my opinion, I’m not encouraging anyone think the same and blah blah blah

>  Well, sorry, this information was presented too abruptly...
In fact, one of the charms of this quest is that with due desire and attentiveness, the “twist” can be understood in advance - these are Telxi’s phrases in Morse and shells and behavior, as well as the phrases of the mother, who not only quickly begins to turn to the clockwork toy as a son, but also talks about the child in a very specific way, in particular, avoiding the name altogether.
The authors prepared us for a sad reality, and if this came to us only from the deliberately clumsy appearance of the head of the fishermen, this is our problem.

For completing the event, you will be given the “Merman Prince” decor along with the crown; there is also Morse code underneath it. How is it translated?

Answer  Manul

I translated it myself, so I can’t vouch for its authenticity!!

  1. one (TFVM >> seul)
  2. dream (sfwf >> rêve)
  3. miracle (njsbdmf >> miracle)

in short, just repetition of keywords :)
