As part of the quest, the Traveler and Paimon, together with Talokard, investigate a crime committed within the walls of the Steam Bird editorial office: Monsieur Arthur has disappeared, and four suspects may be involved in his disappearance.

Travel to the western teleport in Cour de Fontaine and travel to the Steam Bird. The pier is located south of the Epicles Opera House. On the shore you can see three men threatening the dog - they came to collect the debt, but did not find Rosher on the spot.

Talokard will intervene in the conversation, which will anger the leader of the thugs. Defeat the red-haired stranger and his gang to protect the dog.

Search the pier to find information about the drunkard. After an unsuccessful search, the dog will draw the Traveler's attention to a strange box standing in the water near a stone with a shell.

You can immediately break the box to start a dialogue with the man.

Interact with the box, and then break it with a normal attack. As soon as the item is destroyed, Rosher will come out.

Talk to Rosher. The man will protest against Melusine’s accusations and refuse to tell the truth, since there is no evidence that he was near the editorial office at night.

Head north to the small lake to find Kevin. He's surrounded by Hydro Slimes, so he needs to defeat the monsters first.

After the battle, the boy will say that he threw the knife into the water. He marked the required place on the map. Go to where Kevin threw the knife away - to the pier in the south. Having reached the desired point, dive into the sea to find bladed weapons.

Go underwater to search for the blade

Once underwater, swim east, following the quest marker. Near the wreck of the ship you can see xenochrome armored crab. Take away its ability by hitting a creature.

Break the rock and swim into a small cave with a crab inside. Take the table knife with water stains and the rich chest.

Come back to the shore

Return to the pier and talk to Talokard. Melusina will tell you that she is in fact the caretaker of the evidence storage room, so she saw a similar knife associated with the fraud case of the Elegant Ware trade guild. Talokard will want to look for more information and offer to meet later.
