How to start the Qiaoying Village of Stories quest
In order to begin the mission you will need to complete the following tasks:
- In Cours-de-Fontaines, danger awaits at every turn;
- Sacred Mountains, Qiaoying Village from the quest chain Jade Blessing.
After fulfilling the conditions, go south from Qiaoying Village and talk to Giarra, standing next to the gray kitten, not far from the houses.

After the meeting in Fontaine, the Traveler again encounters a strange writer named Guillarra, who has come to Li Yue to find inspiration for her new book.
Follow the kitten
Talk to Guillarra to learn about her adventures in Fontaine and the purpose of her visit to Qiaoying Village. The girl will tell you that there is an unusual kitten sitting next to her. After the dialogue, the animal will try to hide - follow the fleeing kitten north until you reach the stone bridge.
Help Guillarre collect material for the book
When it turns out that the kitten is in no way connected with the animals from Li Yue’s legends, the writer decides to go in search of a new source of inspiration to the village itself. Follow Guillarra and approach the tree in the center of the settlement. For faster movement, use the teleportation point.
The girl will share her thoughts and tell you that she wants to write an absurd detective story, which is why she chooses strange ideas. Then the writer will ask to accompany her outside the village, where she can explore more interesting places.
Walk a little southeast to the quest marker, where a dialogue with Guillarra will start. Afterwards, take a photo of the lantern in the shape of a carp. Approach the yellow beam and interact with it by pressing the button "To take a photo". Then select an angle so that a green inscription appears at the top of the screen "The camera is at the right angle" and take a photo.
Find Guillarra
When the photo is ready, Paimon and the Traveler find out that the writer has disappeared somewhere. To find it, head towards the tea fields, which offer a good view of the village. Run northwest until you find a girl in the middle of the road.
Talk to Guillarra
Approach Guillarra and talk to her. It turns out that the girl was deep in her thoughts about the future book. Now she will ask you to tie her up to find out how the hero of her story felt. Instead, the characters will decide to simply stay with the writer while she stands with her hands in the air all night.
Wait until the next morning (06:00 - 08:00) using rewind time in the Paimon menu. Because of her experiment, Guillarra will feel unwell and lose consciousness - the heroes will take her to the doctor, at which point the quest will end.
Achievement Who Will Tell the Truth in Genshin Impact
A hidden achievement will be awarded for successfully completing a world quest "Who will tell the truth?" with the condition “Help Guillarre find inspiration?”. To collect a reward of 5 source stones for it, open the list of achievements and go to the category tab wonders of the world.

As a reward for completing the world quest you will receive:
- adventure experience ×150;
- mora ×20;
- hero experience ×3;
- Points Li Yue's reputation ×20.
