Once you are there, turn to the east and in the distance, against the backdrop of the mountains, you will be able to see a monument in the form of a head - there is the necessary portal. Go down to the shore of the bay, then start swimming in the direction of a lonely small island.
Near the island, it is recommended to first reach the flat area that is on the city side, and only then leave the water. Climbing up from other sides will be much more difficult. When you approach the stone head, a cutscene will begin, associated with the start of the Mad God storyline.
Get the quest The Door in Nibenay Bay
When you get close to the purple portal, a quest will be added to your character's journal. "The Door in Nibenay Bay"You can also learn about the task in advance randomly, for example, from a conversation with the residents of Bravil or another nearby village.
A mad traveler who had previously set out to explore the Shivering Isles will run out of the portal. After his monologue, the guard Guy Prentus will speak to the hero and warn him of the danger of the Daedric door. Answer him: "I'll go to her", however, if you decide to stay here temporarily, you will still be able to visit the world of Sheogorath later.
