The well-known indie game Minecraft is one of the most popular sandbox games even a decade after its release. It is not at all surprising that this survival simulator among the blocks could sooner or later get a film adaptation, and this awaits it very soon.
Studio planning news Warner Bros. live action movie based on the Minecraft universe appeared back in 2014, at the same time its development began. The company even set a release date for the project in 5 years, but the fans did not see the finished product on time. The release was pushed back several times and the director's chair ed from one to another, until a final decision last year saw him appointed to the director's position. The cast of the project at the moment can please the audience only Jason Momoa, since no one else in the cast has yet been announced. However, the creators still keep the role of the Aquaman star a secret, apparently warming up the intrigue.
