How to start the quest Hiromi's Watch

Before you begin the Hiromi's Watch quest, you must make sure that the following conditions are met:

• get 30 adventure rank;
• carry out a mission in Liyue "The Secret of Chi";
• complete the Archons quest "Ritou Escape Plan", to unlock Inazuma,

Once the requirements are met, head to the southeastern part of Dragonspine.

Where to find drifting bottles

You can start the quest after the item "Someone's Drifting Bottle" appears in your inventory. To do this, you need to find 3 drifting bottles on the Dragon Ridge.

Note in a Bottle 1

The first bottle is closest to the teleporter. Interact with it and read the text of the enclosed note.

Note in a Bottle 2

The second bottle can be found further south, on a small island off the coast. Interacting with it will reveal the continuation of the letter.

Note in a Bottle 3

The third bottle is found at the southernmost point of the peninsula. Next to it sits Ruin Grader, which is activated when you approach it, so before reading the note, destroy the enemy.

After studying the last text you will receive:

• adventure experience;
• item "Someone's Drifting Bottle";
• 30 source stones.

Bottles can be collected in any order, this will not affect the receipt of the reward. If the required items are not in place, and in the inventory in the "Task" section there is "Someone's Drifting Bottle", then they have already been collected earlier. After reading three notes, only one bottle gets into the inventory.

Where to find Hiromi

After collecting 3 bottles, Hiromi will appear on the shore in the middle of Inazuma City. From the southern teleporter, go down to the northwest and talk to him.

If the NPC is not in the specified location, try re-entering the game.

Walkthrough of the quest Hiromi's Watch in Genshin Impact

The first time you approach the Inazuma officer, he will refuse to talk to the Traveler. If you speak to him again, he will tell you that he has been launching bottles with letters to his foreign friend into the sea, but has never received a response from her. During the dialogue, give Hiromi the note you found on the Dragon's Ridge. Having learned his letter, the officer will ask you to go with him to meet an acquaintance who will help you your friend.

Head to the north of the island

Head to Skyward Reach and find Sun Yu and Qiu Er

Both heroes are on an island south of the teleport in the Huaguang Stone Forest. Sun Yu will tell you that they lost track of the girl somewhere on Mount Hulao, where they must go.

Head to Mount Hulao to find Elder Sister

At the designated location, you will find a deep pit with a large amber stone at the bottom. It is difficult to descend into it on a glider due to the air flow, so use a falling attack and aim directly at the stone.

The impact will cause the amber to break and it will turn out that the wanted girl was inside. Talk to the Elder Sister without getting up from the pit.

Save Yang Er

After finishing the conversation, fly up on the air current. Once up, talk to Yan Er again and give her the sealed message from a friend.

Go back and find Hiromi

After saying goodbye to Yan Er, return to Inazuma, where Commission Officer Kanjo is awaiting news on Rito Island. Hiromi will thank you for your help and give you the promised reward.
