How to start quest
The Executioner's Pride quest from the Horse Racing update in KCD 2 opens after the main quest Kutnahorsk partnership.
Talk to Innkeeper Mole by selecting the "What's new?" option to get a hint to go to Executioner Ginek to get a job.
Head to the hut at the Kutnagorsk gallows in the east of the settlement, where the executioner Hynek is already waiting in the yard. Find out the details of the assignment from the man, asking him about where to get the materials he needs.

The quest requires you to forge a sword, which requires extremely unusual materials: the rope of a hanged man, the horseshoe of a ghostly horse, a bezoar, and the skin of a hare.
Find the rope of the hanged man
You can get the hanged man's noose north of the waypoint. "Sedlec Monastery". Head north past the gate into the church grounds until you reach a willow tree and find a bandit digging a grave beneath it. The villain can be driven off by setting a dog on him, but in some cases the man may engage in combat.
Examine the body of the false player lying near the grave. In the inventory you will find the rope of the hanged man - the first component for creating the sword.
Find the ghost horse's horseshoe
You will have to look for the ghost horse's horseshoe in burnt forest, located north of Stara Kutna. Go to the location and find one of the few remaining trees, near which the marker is located.
Rewind to midnight and wait for the black horse to appear. When it spawns, the camera will automatically focus on the steed. When the animal approaches Henry and calls him to follow, follow the ghostly horse along the road. It won't run far, so you can go on foot.
Once the horse stops at the edge of the forest, approach it and interact with it to remove the horseshoe.
The Mystical Horse is the best mount in the game, so it is recommended to take it to a horse dealer and tame it.
Find the bezoar
To obtain the next ingredient, travel to the capital of the Kutnahorský kraj and visit the apothecary's shop in the west of the city during business hours.
Start a conversation with the merchant and buy from him "Bezoar", located in the "Forging" section. The material will cost 46,5 groschen, depending on Indro's reputation and bargaining skills.
Get a hare skin
The last thing that needs to be done is get a hare skin. The easiest way to get the item is to buy it in the same city. Go to the main square, find the butcher's shop there.
Scroll down to the "Miscellaneous" category and buy a hare pelt for 13 groschen, the price also depends on Indro's reputation and bargaining skills.
Forge the executioner's sword
Once you have all the components, head to the nearest forge to forge the executioner's sword. From the butcher's shop, turn left and walk to the end of the street, where you'll find an armorer and an anvil.
Interact with the tool to open the crafting interface and go to the category "Long Swords". There you will find the recipe for "Executioner's Sword". Heat the blank and tap it evenly, listening to Henry's whistle and his comments. It is recommended to save before forging to avoid breaking the sword.
Take the sword to Hynek
Visit the house by the gallows again to bring the sword to Hynek. Start a dialogue with the executioner:
- "I forged you a sword" - Give the man the tool you made for him.
- "I couldn't forge a sword (Lie)" — Keep the sword. If you successfully a very difficult persuasion check, you will retain your reputation.
If you gave the sword to Hynek, he will offer to cut Henry: the belief is that in this case the knight will not end up on the guillotine. Provided that you have previously completed additional tasks "Forbidden fruit", answer "Okay, cut me." will allow you to get the "Bones" trophy.
Awards
The reward depends on Indro's decision at the end:
- 60 groschen and Executioner's Sword, if they lied to Ginek.
