Plot Chronicles of Men and Demons
The story begins in the Edo period in the mountain village of Kadono, where the priestess Itsukihime lived, praying for the prosperity of the place. The main character, a young man named Jinta, is a mikomori, the priestess's guardian, protecting her from demons. In the forest, he encounters one of these oni, who tells the young man about a distant future in which Jinta has a certain role.
After this fateful meeting, Jinta begins a journey of one hundred and seventy years, from the Edo period to the Heisei period. And a special place in the hero's life is occupied by a heart-wrenching question: why does he fight and what is the meaning of wielding a sword?

Kijin Gentoushou already looks like a promising project at the announcement stage.
