Get into the city by the secret path and help the civilians escape. In the guide we will tell you how to escape through the backyards in the quest Exodus KCD 2 and take people out through the age under the synagogue.
How to start the Exodus quest in KCD 2
After the mission "Feast" and the battle in the Ratborzh fortress, talk to the rabbi and Shmuel to tell them about Sigismund's plans to attack the Jewish quarter. The quest will begin automatically, immediately after talking to Kubenka at the entrance to the fortress.
Walkthrough of the Exodus quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Together with your comrades, travel to Kutna Hora in Kubenka's wagon. Having made your way through the old tunnels into the tavern that served as Liechtenstein's refuge, enter the city and help lead the inhabitants outside the walls, holding back the onslaught of Eric's thugs.
Take a carriage to Kutna Hora
Kubenka, who was late for the feast, brought a cart, and it is in it that the comrades decide to go to the city. Wait until everyone is seated, go to the cart from behind and climb inside.
On the way, you can participate in the conversation by holding down "Q" and selecting lines using numbers. Lines do not affect anything here, so you can wait until you have the opportunity to choose: "Call to Hurry (Quick Jump)" — and move straight to the city walls.
Get to the city
The carriage will not reach the city, but will stop nearby. Follow Lichtenstein through the abandoned mines leading to the Jewish quarter.
When the group moves forward, you can press "L Alt", to automatically follow Lichtenstein. He will follow the drunk Kubenka, which will make the route take quite a long time.
Yehuda and Shmuel, meanwhile, will have gone far ahead. At the fork, you may have to stand for a while and wait for the two comrades to return. Only after a conversation at the crossroads and a discussion about who will go where, can you continue following Lichtenstein.
On the way, you can chat with Liechtenstein. Choose both lines in turn, they will help the time.
Search the tavern
When you reach the tavern, it will become obvious that there is someone inside. The hatch is open, and sounds are coming from above. Finish the dialogue by choosing any of the options offered, and go look for the source of the noise.
Exit the room you're in through the age to the west. Climb the stairs to the first floor. Crouch down to keep quiet, as there will be an enemy ahead.
Sneak into the kitchen and quietly eliminate or strangle the killer.
Return to the stairs and go up to the attic where the sounds are coming from. At the top, you will meet three more thugs. Deal with them in any way convenient and go down to the entrance.
Wait for Shmuel near the tavern
Use the door on the first floor to go outside. You'll immediately meet Shmuel, who's learned what's going on in the neighborhood. Lichtenstein will send Henry and Shmuel to help people, and he'll stay in the tavern.
Go after Shmuel
Run after Shmuel to help his mother escape.
Go to Shmuel's mother
Once you're outside, Shmuel will suddenly stop and sit down without saying a word. At that point, you need to go get his mother.
You can enter her house through the alley a little further, opening the door on the left.
Escape through the backyards
Once you find Sarah, you can introduce yourself however you like - it doesn't affect anything at this point. Listen to Shmuel's suggestion to run through the backyards and follow his mother out of the house.
Kill the shooters on the walls
Sarah will notice archers on the walls and hide from them behind the chicken coop. Take a crossbow or a bow and shoot one of the shooters. He will die after the first hit, and the second will immediately run away. After that, you can continue following Sarah.
If you don't have a long-range weapon in your inventory, climb the wall. To do this, after leaving the house, immediately turn left, find a recess in the city wall and climb the stairs. Kill one of the shooters to secure the path.
Fight your way through the house
Keep running after Sarah. She will climb the stairs and then move onto the thatched roof. If you used a crossbow to kill the archer earlier, reload it beforehand.
From the roof you will witness the murder of two residents. Sarah will tell you about it and ask you to help them, but she will run on.
Wait until all four are outside and shoot the one strangling the girl. Then pull out your sword and jump down immediately. Attack the enemies and do not let them hit the civilians, as they die immediately. If you managed to save both, you can talk to them at the end of the quest.
Return via the ladder to the roof and run after Sarah. She has gone a little further and is waiting at the entrance to the house nearby.
Go inside and help Shmuel who is fighting against two soldiers. Follow Shmuel outside and watch the story cutscene.
Hold back the onslaught under the walls of the synagogue
After the cutscene, a battle will begin with Eric's thugs who have burst in - in this battle you need to hold out for 3 minutes. The enemies are very well equipped and can be difficult to fight. Try to stay close to Shmuel and Kubenka and do not let yourself be surrounded. It is better to concentrate on blocking attacks, as it will not be possible to defeat them all.
Liechtenstein will soon appear and lead everyone out through the synagogue, which Shmuel will then set on fire.
Talk to Sarah about the blacksmith Martin
Once outside the city walls, exit the tunnel. All the rescued residents of the Jewish quarter have gathered here. You can talk to the rabbi and learn about the community's future plans.
Nearby you can also find a couple saved from the killers. If you were able to save both, talk to them and receive words of gratitude. If there is only one left, you will not be able to talk.
When you decide to complete the quest, go into the barn and talk to Sarah standing in the center. First, ask: "Is there anything else I can do to help?"This will give Indro additional reputation.
The conversation about Martin will start automatically. If you haven't told Sarah that you are the blacksmith's son before, she will be surprised. The dialogue choices don't affect anything - finish it and the quest will be over.
The next task is "The Fox's Den".
