Moving to another city and house in inZOI becomes an integral part of family life when the number of cohabitants increases. After getting married and having a child, Zoe can move to a more spacious home that will allow each family member to have their own room.
In addition, the cities have unique objects and locations, which makes it interesting to try living in each region. In the guide, we will tell you how to change your house or apartment in inZOI, and we will analyze the possibility of moving to another city.
How to move to a new home in inZOI
There are several ways to move into a new house, including both role-playing ones that look more than realistic, and mechanical ones that require intervention in the gameplay.
Select a site on the map
The most obvious way to move is to buy another home or land. inZOI has three types of real estate:
- Flats and apartments in apartment buildings. You can edit the furniture in them, but you won't be able to expand the existing housing.
- Ready-made housesZoe is offered to buy a plot of land with an already built house, which can later be redeveloped, rooms can be added, a backyard can be arranged and any other machinations can be carried out.
- Empty land plotsThey are cheaper, but to live in such places you will first need to buy or build a house.
When moving, it is also necessary save or sell furniture from the previous place of residence. In the first case, all objects will go to storage, in the second, Zoe will receive money for the sold goods.
When buying a home, you can only take a ready-made "set" - a plot, a building and furniture. Later, new options will appear:
- Buy only the building, without furniture.
- Completely demolish the building and furniture, freeing up the purchased plot.
If the house the playable Zoe wants to move into already has a family living in it, she will be automatically evicted.
Edit city
If another family already lives in the building or apartment you want to move to, but you don't want to permanently delete them, you can simply edit the city:
- Click on the desired place of residence.
- Press "Run over"to quickly evict the family.
- If you want to move the family living there, click on "Move" in the card of this house.
- Select a new apartment or house for the resettlers, then confirm the action.
You can simply disband a family living in any house, then all interactions with it will cease.
It is possible to remove any family from the metropolis in an alternative way. Click on "All Families" in the upper left corner of the city map. After opening the window with families, click on the trash can and mark the desired cell with a check mark. Then confirm the action by clicking on the red check mark, and all selected families will disappear from the city.
Get married
Getting married in the game opens up new possibilities, one of which is cohabitation:
- Once you have reached the "Lovers" status in your romantic relationship, go to the "Romance" actions section and select "To propose marriage".
- A new option will open immediately after this. "To get married".
- In the next window, Zoe can move between dwellings.
You can either move your other half to your house, where the game character lives, or move to your partner's home. If the family has become too large, you can purchase a new plot for the newlyweds.
How to move to another city in inZOI
Move to another city after the choice made at the beginning of the game, does not seem possible. The game is currently in early access, the feature should appear in inZOI closer to December 2025. This date is stated in the development roap.
Create a new game
If you still want to change your place of residence, all that remains is to create a new game. Go to the lobby and select the appropriate option, create heroes from scratch or use templates to move an existing family. All time aspects, such as career experience, relationships and other attributes of heroes, are not saved - life will have to start from scratch.
To choose from now only two cities are offered — Korea's Dowon and America's Bliss Bay. A third city, Indonesia's Kuchingku, is in development and will be added around August 2025.
How to travel to another city
Intercity travel function is also currently missing. Heroes can only move within the selected settlement. The option will probably be added to the game along with the moving function - in December 2025.
