Who to take in the squad to defeat the Shadow "Feixiao"

Squads to defeat Feixiao (the boss) must be composed taking into the vulnerabilities of the enemy and her minion. Below are some examples of effective teams that can be used as a template when assembling your own group of characters.

Top Teams

Hero 1 Hero 2 Hero 3 Hero 4 How to use
Feixiao Zaryanka Topaz
Mojie
Aventurine

Strategy: maximum protection.

  • The chosen Save guarantees survival and also provides damage .
  • The elements of damage-dealing heroes provide destruction to the three main types of vulnerability.
  • Feixiao, as the main DPS unit of the group, is excellent at breaking through defenses while also dealing massive single-target damage.
Himeko Hook Asta Gallagher
Fire GG

Strategy: mono-fire.

  • Three out of four enemies are weak to fire. Himeko does great area damage, which will make it easy to deal with both the boss and the summoned fox at the same time.
  • The second slot, in turn, is occupied by Hook, who is able to effectively deal with solo-target.
  • Asta buffs speed and also increases fire damage with a pumped trace.
  • The position is assigned to Gallagher or Pathfinder (Fire). Both units are good in their roles, and are also capable of providing damage .
Seele
qingque
Silver Wolf Sparkle Fu Xuan
Lynx

Strategy: mono-quantum.

  • Two out of four enemies have a quantum weakness, and Silver Wolf will help distribute it to other enemies.
  • Zele deals massive damage to single targets (can be replaced by Qingque with AoE potential), and Fu Xuan damages the entire group, while protecting and buffing allies (can be replaced by Lynx as a free hero).
  • Twilight is considered the best Harmony character for the Quantum Heroes.
Firefly Imaginary. GG ruan mei Gallagher

Strategy: penetration.

  • Firefly is the main damage dealer who deals the bulk of the damage.
  • Pathfinder (Imaginary) and Ruan Mei are considered the best heroes in Harmony, which strengthen the characters that play from penetration.
  • Without Linsha, the group can rely on Gallagher's debuffs and healing abilities. His mechanics will also allow him to deal decent damage and effectively reduce the stamina bar.
Armor Asta Locha
Bailu

Strategy: game from hypercarry.

  • The selected character from the Path of the Hunt, Destruction, or Erudition deals the main damage.
  • Armor and Asta apply key buffs: increase speed, attack power, critical damage and outgoing damage. Armor, in turn, moves the action forward by 100%.
  • Locha is one of the most comfortable representatives of Abundance with ive healing. However, he can be replaced with any other healer. For example, Bayla, who heals well and can resurrect one ally in case of his death.

Budget groups

Builds of the most accessible characters for F2P players:

Hero 1 Hero 2 Hero 3 Hero 4 How to use
qingque Dan Heng Fire GG Natasha

Strategy: survival and vulnerability penetration.

  • The team has elemental damage to penetrate the four main vulnerabilities.
  • Abundance and Preservation heroes combine for better survivability.
  • Qingque deals overall damage, while Dan Heng finishes off single targets when needed.
Hook m. Gui Asta
Fire GG
Gallagher

Strategy: budget mono-fire.

  • Three of the four targets have fire vulnerability. Thanks to Hook and Guinaifen, the squad has enough damage both in the area and on solo targets.
  • If your survivability is poor, you can replace Asta with Pathfinder (Fire).
Xueyi Imaginary. GG Asta Gallagher
Lynx

Strategy: budget super penetration.

  • Xuei damages durability without regard to vulnerability type.
  • The squad's synergy significantly increases the penetration effect, and the Pathfinder (Imaginary) complements it.
  • Gallagher increases penetration damage, at the same time we can easily replace it with Lynx with a more stable healing, if there are problems with survivability.
As a result, the squad has enough area damage to evenly damage all enemies.

Squads for completing the story

The following groups, in turn, will demonstrate themselves well during the course of the story campaign. "Duel under the azure sky 2":

Hero 1 Hero 2 Hero 3 Hero 4 How to use
Boothill Sparkle Gallagher Asta A physical hypercarry option in the person of Boothill.
  • Cowboy deals primary damage to a single target in the form of Feixiao, independently gains stacks of Pocket Advantage, and single-handedly receives all bonuses from s.
  • Asta increases damage and slightly advances the entire team in the action queue after activating his ult by increasing his speed.
  • Sparkle directs her skill exclusively at Boothill, instantly advancing him in the chain of actions, and also increasing his crit damage. Due to the ultimate ability, it restores skill points actively used by all squad except Gallagher.
  • Gallagher provides effective healing to the entire squad at once.
Having received a trial Feixiao during the game, you can remove Asta from the team, leaving only one .
Firefly Xueyi
Imaginary. GG
Asta Gallagher A variant with two effective damage dealers for both single and multiple targets.
  • Firefly and Xueyi are almost equally good at dealing massive damage, quickly breaking through Feixiao's vulnerabilities. Xueyi is replaced by False Pathfinder.
  • Asta is dedicated to increasing the team's overall damage output, and also periodically moves allies forward in the chain of actions by activating his ult.
  • Gallagher allows the entire squad to heal quickly and effectively due to the presence of attacking abilities in all .
After acquiring temporary Feixiao as the hero of the story, the character in the first or second position can be replaced.
Topaz Jasper
Feixiao
Zaryanka Hoho A variant of a squad of bonus attackers, capable of focusing on one or several targets at once.
  • Topaz deals basic fire damage to a single target and increases the damage of the squad's bonus attacks.
  • Jasper s Topaz and deals decent damage herself, while simultaneously collecting stacks of Charge to perform a bonus attack.
  • Robin effectively strengthens the team, increasing damage and attack power, and also provides additional fire . Thanks to the trail, Improvised Decoration can further enhance the bonus attacks.
  • Hoho heals the injured, restores energy, and provides an additional boost to attack power.
After the appearance of a trial Feixiao in the squad, Jasper can be removed from the team, since the general also has the ability to perform bonus attacks.

Feixiao Boss Attacks

In addition to the squad, you need to familiarize yourself with the enemy's combat abilities in advance - this will allow you to better prepare for the battle, as well as quickly defeat the boss Feixiao without unnecessary problems.

The first phase

In the first phase, only the Shadow "Feixiao" itself is present on the battlefield, periodically performing attacks on command. All of its skills, presented below, are retained by the fox itself in subsequent stages of the boss. At the beginning of the battle, you will have to face the following abilities:

  • DEF — A permanent ive effect that both Feixiao and the Inner Beast parts have. The status greatly reduces the damage taken by the boss until its vulnerability is broken. Fully reducing the target's durability will remove this effect, delaying their actions and increasing the damage they take. The status is reapplied after the vulnerability is restored.
  • Heavenly Bonds - Feixiao gains a damage bonus and adds another action to his turn queue.
  • Musket Saber: Sword Fang - A weak blow that deals wind damage to one target.
  • Great Axe: Iron Claw - A powerful attack on one target, dealing wind damage and with some chance inflicting the Powerlessness status, reducing the damage dealt by this character.
  • ing tornado — a strong area attack that deals wind damage to the entire squad. In the order of actions, this ability is marked with a yellow icon next to the portrait of the boss. In subsequent phases, this talent will change to a special attack that is combined with parts of the Inner Beast of the Eclipse.

The second phase

In the second phase of the battle, the fox will be ed by the Inner Beast of the Eclipse, which has three parts present on the battlefield: Nebula Eater (head), Destructive Claws (paw), and Sweeping Tail. All of these targets share HP, but have separate sets of vulnerabilities and abilities. In this phase, you will encounter the following boss skills:

  • Heavenly Bonds - Feixiao enters a state of Resonance with all parts of the Eclipse Inner Beast and restores some of their stamina. The effectiveness of penetrating the vulnerability of all enemy targets is increased, but the next action of all parts of the boss is greatly increased.
  • Cleansing the world - A Sweeping Tail strike that deals minor wind damage to all targets.
  • Destruction of the universe - Sweeping Tail strike in Resonance state. Deals high wind damage to all characters on the battlefield, and also has a high chance of inflicting the Powerlessness status on them, reducing the damage they deal.
  • Rip of space - A blow from the Destructive Claws that deals minor wind damage to one target and nearby characters.
  • Rupture of the firmament - A strike from the Destructive Claws while in Resonance. Deals massive wind damage to a single target and allies adjacent to it. After performing this ability, the damage of this part of the Inner Beast will be significantly increased.
  • Eating Clouds - A blow from the Nebula Eater that deals minor wind damage to all targets.
  • Breath of Ether — Nebula Eater's strike in Resonance. Deals devastating wind damage to all targets and has a high chance of inflicting the Fury status on them, blocking control over the character for two turns.

The third phase

In the final phase, the boss's skills are almost identical to the previous ones, with all of Feixiao's abilities and parts of the Eclipse Inner Beast being repeated. However, new, significantly stronger attacks are added to the talents:

  • Shrouded in the storm — Feixiao restores the durability of all parts of the Eclipse Inner Beast and becomes unavailable for attack. The boss's next move will definitely be the skill "Overwhelming Heaven, Swallowing Earth".
  • The skies overwhelmed, the earth swallowed — all targets are dealt devastating wind damage, and there is a chance that the status of Powerlessness or Fury is inflicted if the durability of the Sweeping Tail and Nebula Eater, respectively, has not been reduced. The damage of the ability depends on how many parts of the Inner Eclipse Beast had their vulnerabilities not penetrated before activating the skill. The damage of parts with unpenetrated durability is increased.

Tactics on how to defeat the Feixiao boss in Honkai: Star Rail

With poor preparation and insufficient experience, the battle can cause certain problems and face some difficulties. We will list the main tips that will help you kill the boss Feixiao in HSR:

  • There is only one enemy in the first phase, so get all your ultimates on Feixiao, but don't rush to spend them all before the second stage. It is advisable to leave at least one powerful attacking ult to quickly reduce the resistance of the Inner Beast of the Eclipse parts further.
  • The greatest damage to enemies in any phase is received only after their vulnerability has been breached. Therefore, use enhanced attacks, skills and ultimate abilities only on those targets whose durability has been reduced. To effectively reduce the boss's HP, it is enough to attack even one such part, since they share the same health bar.
  • In the second and third phases, in addition to the girl, three separate parts of the huge fox will appear on the battlefield. Thus, there will be targets for attack four - It is important to have at least one hero with good area damage in your team to speed up the pace of the battle.
  • Enemies use skills that deal damage to all characters at once, so the hero with mass healing or shield will protect the squad from receiving critical damage.
  • There is no need to concentrate damage on any particular part of the fox's body - it will not disappear, but will remain on the battlefield, so choose a target taking into the possibility of breaking through the enemy's "defense".
  • Throughout the second and third phase, focus on on breaking through vulnerabilities, especially after Feixiao activates the Heavenly Bonds or Stormbound skills. The more targets that can be "disabled", the less damage and debuffs the team will receive.
  • In the second stage of the battle follow the order of actions all parts of the boss. If Feixiao has activated Heavenly Bonds, it makes sense to concentrate further attacks on the part of the Inner Eclipse Beast whose turn is next. In this case, it will be possible to break through its vulnerability faster and prevent the use of the enhanced skill.
  • As the end of the second phase approaches, do not rush to use up the characters' ultimate skills. In the third phase, Feixiao can activate Stormbound quite quickly and carry out an extremely powerful attack later. To reduce its damage, super abilities can be useful, which will quickly reduce the durability of the remaining targets on the battlefield.

If the above tactics do not help, then try to completely change the current command taking into the recommendations and try again.

Two battle achievements can be obtained for the battle with the Feixiao Shadow by fulfilling special conditions during the second and third phases of the battle.

When will this rain stop…

In the second phase, after Feixiao activates the Heavenly Bonds skill, break through the vulnerabilities all three parts The Inner Beast of the Eclipse so that they cannot perform a Resonance attack.

Are you angry?

Condition: Break the vulnerability of all parts of the Eclipse Inner Beast during the effect and charging of the special ability Shrouded in Storm in the battle with the Shadow "Feixiao".

Reward: 5 Star Jades.

This is a beast and not a boss!!! According to the story, I defeated her, though not the first time... I knocked out Linsha and to increase her traces you need an item from this boss. Usually I kill all the other bosses easily on the maximum 6th difficulty level by turning on auto battle, but I can't defeat this crap not only with auto battle, I even had to lower the difficulty level from 6 to 5 by turning off auto battle! And even then it's not a fact that you can't win! What kind of bastard came up with this boss, I have quite a few characters, 80 and they are well-leveled, but this is crazy, it's a pity for complete beginners, they definitely get burned hard.

As a result, I ed the 5th difficulty level out of 6 possible, after the first phase I turned off auto-battle. Squad: Cheetah E1, Himeko, Guan Naifen and Hoho (without shields or a tank, with one Hoho it is extremely difficult and almost impossible) - all 80 and well pumped and even then I had to spend about 30 minutes on one run following the guides, there was even a moment when the squad almost fell ill ... it is possible to try to replace Cheetah with Fu Xuan and Hoho with Lynx, but to be honest I really don’t want to go farm this boss for the 2nd time ... my condolences to those who do not have fire characters.

Well, Himeko is weak, she is an erudite person, and Guynaifen is a Doter who is nothing without Kafka.

Just finished the 6th difficulty with the "mono-fire" group recommended here, in about 15 minutes. Himeko, Hook, Asta and Gallagher. Before that I ate something to increase crit damage and attack power and to resist effects. It was sometimes disturbing, but fun, I haven't been so tense for a long time, since the Beetle!
I'm also used to the fact that Acheron and the group, especially after receiving E1 and the signature cone, take out everything and everyone. But then she had to go on a smoke break.

Cheetah with shields saves well, but with it you'd better need some other healer
