Where to find Karlach

Location Karlach is an area enclosed by rocks (X: 109, Y: 510), running across the river, not far from the locations “Extinct Village” and “Emerging Road”.

How to save Karlach in Baldur's Gate 3

• Cowardice — show courage in situations where it is necessary, under no circumstances run away from the battlefield and always adequately repel the enemy, otherwise you will have to be content with a low level of relations with the tiefling;
• Goblin and Absolute politics - as already mentioned, any attempts to go against the druids and tieflings may end in failure (Karlach, along with Will and Halsin, may leave the squad forever);
• Being cruel to the weak and needy - Karlach will not leave the protagonist if he begins to show cruelty to those who need help, however, she may demonstrate hostility towards the main character and his ruthlessness, since such behavior is unusual for her nature.

If you adhere to the above recommendations, that is, always act on the side of “good”, as well as show mercy and fortitude, you can improve your relationship with Karlach in the shortest possible time and, therefore, enjoy most of the romantic and bed scenes with the girl.

Relationship with Karlach in the first act

Once you recruit Karlach and gain access to the companion mission "Hell's Heart", find Dammon in the territory of the emerald grove and, after discussing the problem of the tiefling girl with him, bring hellish iron to cool down your companion for a while. Then, raise your companion's Approval gauge to Good/Excellent. As soon as this happens, use the “Long Rest” function and get comfortable on the couch: after a while, the “hot” barbarian will decide to visit her dear ally. If you didn’t manage to enjoy the cut-scene during the main and side quests of the first act, it will appear during the refugee festival and thereby mark the “beginning” of the romance with Karlach.

The second significant scene that can bring the barbarian and the main character closer together is random: Also occurs during The Long Rest and can be triggered by dialogue - talk to the girl when you see the "exclamation mark" above her head. The conversation will begin with the phrase: “Hey, soldier! You said you'd try to cool me down. Any ideas? - after hearing it, do the following:

1. Answer the question with a response: "Hmm... Let me try something.".
2. Then, either pour water on Karlakh from a regular bottle, or use the spell “Ice Beam” (Evocation Focus), “Ice Knife” (School of Incarnation) or “Create Water” (School of Transmutation) against her.

Despite the fact that the characters will not be able to fully touch their lips, this scene will leave pleasant memories and will slightly improve the relationship with your companion.

The first romantic scene of the third act can unfold when meeting the dryad Zetkhino at the circus. When a woman asks about the protagonist's crush, you must:

1. Answer the question with a reply: “Yes, I have love - and, by the way, we are quite close”.
2. To the offer “May your love appear before me with you,” pay 100 gold coins and say: “This might be interesting, Karlach. What do you think about it?".

The companion will agree to undergo a relationship test. The heroes will move to a completely different world, where they will be separated by a river and a “ringing” waterfall.

Every correct answer to a question is an opportunity to take a step towards your beloved. The following phrases, in turn, will be considered the correct answers to the dryad’s questions:

• "Gortash."
• "Killing enemies and having a victorious night together."
• “Settle in a quiet village with your loved one and children.”

The second significant scene, along with other unique moments, is random: Just like the others, it takes place during the Long Rest and can be triggered by dialogue. As soon as the companion appears above his head "Exclamation point", talk to her. The girl will offer the protagonist privacy during a night walk around the city. The date will unfold on the territory of a cozy restaurant, where Karlach will surround his lover with compliments, ion and sincerity.

Thus, another full-fledged sex scene with Karlach will be presented.

The last bright manifestation of love between the protagonist and the tiefling will unfold in the final part of the main story campaign, when the city is saved and the main characters of the story remain alive. Is it possible to romance Karlach and Shadowheart?

Simultaneous relationships with Karlach and Shadowheart are also provided for in the game, but it is important to understand that in the end, neither girl will want to put up with competition for the heart of her lover. The first act

• Find Karlakh and invite her to the squad before Shadowheart's recruitment. • At the same time, continue to develop your relationship with Shadowheart: while completing the missions of the first act, gradually “close” the objectives of the companion’s task - find out that she worships Shar, approve of her faith, try to get to know her better, get “Approval” points, and without conflicting with Karlach's worldview.
• During the refugee festival, talk to Karlach (choose lines containing coquetry/flirting). In addition, also interact with Shadowheart: agree to spend time together and, ultimately, go on a solitary walk with the priestess.

Thus, at the time of completing the first act of the game, you will record the beginning of a relationship with both Shadowheart and Karlach.

The second act

Continue along the storyline of the second act. Arriving at the temple Song of the Night. Convince Shadowheart to spare Eileen's life and thereby renounce the goddess.

As a result, the priestess will stop presenting the protagonist with a choice - she will seem to forget that the main character is simultaneously building a romantic relationship with another companion. Shadowheart

Shadowheart is a follower of Shar who is reserved and mysterious. In the first stages of relationship development, she shows coldness, but is not ready to put up with competition when it comes to her lover’s heart. Even despite the fact that the game provides the possibility of romance with both Shadowheart and Karlach, ultimately the protagonist is faced with a choice - either a priestess or a tiefling barbarian.

Wyll

Will is a sorcerer entitled "Blade of the Frontier". Identical to Shadowheart, he is restrained in expressing feelings and emotions in the first stages of relationship development.
