Fang of the Mountain King in Kinicha. Unlike most weapons of this type, it does not increase the damage of a normal or charged attack, but gives a rare affix to the damage of an elemental skill and ult.
The price for such a boost is a specific condition for activating the effect, which greatly narrows the range of possible carriers or forces you to select specific teams. In the guide, we will tell you how to get the sword Fang of the Mountain King, who it is suitable for and how to select a team to implement its properties. We will also provide rotation using weapons and exact stats.

To upgrade the Mountain King's Fang, you need to collect special resources from Natlana:
- Insane Decadence/Desolation/Appearance/Spirituality of the Holy Sage is a weapon exaltation material that is obtained by farming the weapon dungeon in Natlan.
- Flamestone/Seed of Life/Eye - drops when defeating the Incarnation of Lava (fiery enemies of the Pyro Kingdom).
- Wooden/metal/golden whistle of a Saurian-crowned warrior - to obtain these, defeat certain types of Saurian-like warriors of the tribe.
Who is suitable for the Mountain King's Fang in Genshin Impact?
The Fang of the Mountain King is intended for main DDs who deal their main damage through hits with their elemental skill and ult. The ive effect can be obtained from two different actions, each of which gives a certain number of stacks that last for 6 seconds:
- Hit an enemy with an elemental skill - 1 stack, can be obtained 1 time every 0,5 sec.
- Activate the Burning or Blooming reaction by an ally - 3 stacks, can be obtained 1 time every 2 sec.
Thus, to realize the effect, the following conditions must be met when choosing a weapon carrier and selecting a team:
- Use a sword on a character whose E-shka deals periodic damage to enemies in order to consistently maintain at least a couple of stacks. This way you can increase the damage even outside of the Burning or Blooming commands.
- Add the owner of the Mountain King's Fang to a team that has Burn or Bloom reactions. With their help, you will significantly speed up the collection of stacks up to their maximum number, which will allow you to use the sword even on those heroes who are not able to collect all the stacks due to their E-shka.
Such requirements for the E-shki mechanics and the game through Dendro reactions significantly limit the possibility of choosing the owner of the sword. The weapon is ideal only for Kinich, as its signature owner. Alternatively, it can be given to other two-handers, but it is worth considering that they will either not be able to recruit and maintain full stacks on their own, or will require significant adjustments to their team.
Although the ultimate is also enhanced by stacks, it, unlike E-shki, does not gain them.
In the table we will analyze each character for whom the sword is suitable, and tell you in what conditions it is easier to implement it with them.
Character | Features |
---|---|
Being a hero signature, it suits him perfectly. Strengthens all of his main abilities and is intended for the best teams of Kinich, who, to be fully realized, must play with Pyro and Hydro allies. Please note that it is advisable to give it to the ult after E-shka, since stacks are gained only by ale. skill, and the buff applies to both the skill and the ultimate. | |
Although Kaveh most often plays in Budding with Nilu or acts as a driver in teams from Stimulation, if you use him in a squad with Pyro element characters, for example, Bennett, the sword will show itself well. | |
It can only stack two times due to the ticking time of the E-fires, but it is still useful in a sub-DD build. Especially if Mavuika is playing with a Dendro character. | |
Ka Ming regularly activates an elemental skill, as it allows him to make attacks while falling. During the active ult stance, the E-shki's cooldown is completely reduced, which allows you to use this ability more often. Due to this, Ka Ming will quickly gain stacks even without Dendro allies, but since the bulk of his damage comes from attacking while falling, he doesn’t really need the reinforcement of E-Shki and ultimate from the stacks of the effect. Purposefully knocking out for Ka Ming is not recommended, but you can give it to your hands if you accidentally knocked it out. | |
All of Dehya’s damage, depending on whether she occupies the position of a secondary or primary damage dealer, comes either from an elemental skill or from her ultimate. For both roles, the sword will suit her, although it will not show brilliant results. In addition, if you use Dehya as a sub-dead, keep in mind that she will be able to collect a maximum of 2 stacks, since they last for 6 seconds, and the heroine can carry out a t strike from the E-shki field once every 2.5 seconds. | |
Diluc regularly uses an elemental skill in his rotation, and his ultimate also makes a significant contribution to his damage. Without a Dendro character, he will be able to gain a maximum of 3 stacks, but when playing with Burning/Blooming, he will easily maintain all 6 and will be able to update them regularly. | |
Freminé, being a Cryo character from Breakdown or physical. games, does not particularly fit with Dendro and Pyro heroes. However, since he has a mechanic of regular attacks that count as elemental skill damage, he will be able to quickly gain and maintain stacks of the effect even without the necessary allies. |
How the weapon works
Playing with Fang of the Burning King comes down to constantly attacking enemies with an elemental skill and/or activating elemental reactions of Burning or Bloom for allies. The sword will show its best performance on heroes without the snapshot mechanic, as the stacks can decrease during combat, and it is important that their increase increases the damage dealt.
It is important to take into that the weapon conditions indicate the need for hit against enemies with an elemental skill, and not the very fact of its activation. If a hero has a long cooldown of a skill, which hits opponents several times during its action (for example, a field from E-shka Dahyi), then stacks will be collected without problems.
Depending on whether you are playing with Pyro as allies or gaining stacks solely at the expense of the sword owner’s own E-shka, the order of actions may change.
Rotation with the Fang of the Mountain King when playing through Burning and Bloom:
- Start with s and buffers, distributing buffs and ensuring the squad's survivability.
- Switch to the weapon owner, attack the enemy once, giving him elemental status. Ideally, hit with an E-shank to instantly gain 1 stack.
- Next, immediately activate the Burning or Blooming reaction for ally. For example, if the wielder of the sword is Dendro of the element, switch to a party member's Pyro and hit the enemy, causing Burning. Or, if you are playing through Blossom, first go to Hydro sub-dd or , attack once, causing Budding, and then explode the created bud as your partner's Pyro. If the owner of the claymore is a Pyro element, switch to the Dendro character.
- Return to the sword owner and attack with E-shkas, combining them with his usual rotation if necessary. By that time, there will already be 4 stacks out of 6, and the remaining 2 are easy to get.
- Since the stacks from Burning and Bloom are gained even from the pocket, there is no need to return to your allies every 6 seconds. Play as the main DD while the buffs are active. Try to deal Ultimate with maximum stacks.
- As soon as the abilities of s and sub-dampers stop working, refresh them and repeat the cycle from point 2.
Rotation when playing with Fang of the Mountain King, if the team does not have Burning and Bloom reactions. This is only suitable for those characters who have frequent hits with E-ka or a very short cooldown time.
- Distribute buffs and from your allies.
- Activate the E-shka, making sure that it goes over the enemies and gives a stack. Hit it again with a minimum time gap from the last blow, combining it with the hero’s usual attacks.
- Try to activate the ult immediately after the last hit of the E-shka. For example, if you use this claymore on Diluka, reset the elemental explosion immediately after the third E-shka goes into cooldown, when all 3 accumulated stacks are still active.
- Return to allies as healing, shields, or buffs expire to refresh these abilities.

Why is there 11 percent of school?
Hello! Because of the high base attack of the weapon. There is a pattern in the game that the higher the base of the weapon, the "weaker" the sub-stat parameter. You can compare this on different weapons with crit. chance and crit. damage: the lower the base attack, the more crits this weapon has, and vice versa - respectively. A measure of game balance 🙂
I got this sword and improved my bell sword with it as a material - I'm afraid this is its best use. Again, the fat-faced Chinese laughed at me like I was a f***, for my own money. I just want to say something probably surprising: a subscription to 18 Ultra HD 4K channels costs a month, attention: 1 dollar, from the provider Antifreeze.TV. here, from the fat-faced devils, we get mockery for hundreds of dollars. I wonder how to feel about this? I have never seen such shameless profiteering in my life, where they squeeze money out like that, and even mock you for it.
🤡🤡🤡
I came here to cry, because this miracle fell to me instead of the Harvest. I hope that in the future the Pyro Archon will need it, but for now it lies as cargo in the warehouse*(((((((((((
I didn't even know that 5* weapons only have 11% HC, it's only suitable for Diluc, which I will never use. I should have stopped and not run this scam banner.
the main rule of the weaponry: spin it when you need both signals, 11% because of the high base, in theory... if Mavuiki has a buff similar to Bennett, which scales from the base - it's imba, but otherwise I don't know
I'm here after losing at the weapon banner.. Raiden will sit without a sign for a long time.
I knocked out this piece of a piece instead of harvesting, I read and understand that there is simply no one to give it to, no one will sell it except Kunich. Well, for what T_T
How I understand you
is it ok on itto?
is it better to take c1 kinich or signa?
Both are good, it constantly buffs the gun and makes it hit harder.
I'll take the signal, purely because I want to.
is it true that ksh has been changed? if yes, then why the hell do i need this stick
I'm thinking,
and if you give it to Navi, the team has Dendro, Hydro and Pyro.... Navi's main Domag comes from Eshka... yes, it's low KSh, I would say negligible, but at least it's something
The developers suggest playing with this two-handed weapon from burning/blooming, i.e. with a high probability the wearer will receive a good ATK bonus from pyro-resonance or Bennett's buff. And they balance the stats in favor of ATK, making the KS simply ridiculous. It would be much better to have 608 ATK and 33 KS, because we will most likely get the attack bonus anyway.
This weapon was originally with 608 ATK and 33 KS, but since the kinich wants to wear a set for 40 KS and also a signal on top of 33 KS. It turns out that the kinich will have 78 KS without artifacts at all. It is so easy to get into an imbalance of stats. So the developers changed it
Hmm... I don't think they changed it, it's still 33%. Well, at least I didn't find any information about the change in the KS..
Oh my God, what a non-universal weapon... Horrible.
