Alex Casey's lunch boxes are small red boxes surrounded by colorful pebbles. By opening them, you will receive fragments of the manuscript, which are important for further leveling and are used to improve Saga’s weapons. In addition, if you find all the lunch boxes and Cult caches, you can get the achievement "In the Shade of the Trees" [Hidden by the Trees].
How to improve weapons
Manuscript fragments are pieces of paper that are needed to improve weapons. They are always hidden in lunch boxes, but their number may vary. If you find only one part in one box, you may find much more in another.
Once you have collected enough fragments, you can go to the Sanctuary of the Mind and use them to upgrade your weapons. The system is quite simple: you need to spend a certain number of parts to improve the selected characteristics: for example, reload speed or damage. Climb through the hole in the fence northwest of the Bonileg Trail and follow the path. After going down the slope, turn onto the right path to get to the observation deck. The lunch box is located in the bushes, on the ground, and contains 2 manuscript fragments.

Location: Cauldron Lake, Bonileg Trail.
Northeast of the Shop, at the end of the blocked path, there is a box with 1 manuscript fragment.
Lunch box 3

Location: Cauldron Lake, Murder Site.
To the southwest of the murder site, in the opening near the campsite you can find a cache of 3 fragments.

After defeating the boss of this zone, the flood in the south will disappear. Exit through the south gate and look for a box among the trees between the two paths leading west from the Nursing Home. As a reward you will receive 9 manuscript fragments.

Northeast of the Ranger Station, on the lower of the two paths, you will find a box containing 8 fragments.
