Where to find Lavolite in LEGO Fortnite
You can get lavolite only in one place - in lava caves. To find them, go to the desert region and look for high accumulations of stones - this is the entrance to the cave. Prepare everything you need to survive inside.

Lavolite are large, orange-colored rocks that are found near or in lava. It's not scary if you fall into a hot volcanic mass a couple of times: it does little damage and won't kill you in one touch.
How to get lavolite in LEGO Fortnite
To get Lavolite in LEGO Fortnite, create rare blue pickaxe – regular and green ones will not cause damage, so you won’t be able to get a resource with their help.
Blue pickaxe can be crafted at workbench blue level from the following resources:
- Cactus stick×3 - made at a sawmill from ordinary cactus, which is mined in the desert;
- Sand Claw×3 - Drops from desert wolves that attack in small packs. Stock up on food and craft better equipment before fighting them.
Lava, although it doesn’t do a lot of damage, is still capable of killing, especially if you get stuck in it somewhere under a bridge. Cover its surface with wooden platforms and calmly mine lavolite. Although the platforms are made of wood, they will not burn due to high temperatures. The lava waterfall does not cause any damage at all, so all the lavolite that is behind it can be mined without risk.
What is lavolite used for?
Lavolite will be needed to create an amulet of internal fire, a smelter and a furnace. It is also useful in the manufacture of certain types of lighting for settlements.
Amulet of Inner Fire (blue)
It will come in handy when you decide to go to a snowy region. Use it to avoid frostbite and get a bonus +4 to health and +7 to protection. For production you need:
- Wool thread×3;
- Faceted ruby×5;
- Lavolite×8;
- Powder core×3.
Amulet of Inner Fire (purple)
Like blue, it will help avoid frostbite, but will increase the character’s parameters even more significantly: it gives +5 to health and +14 to protection. For crafting you will need:
- Thick wool thread×3;
- Lavolite×30;
- Powder core×10;
- ice horror shadow×1.

You will need a smelter to create copper и iron ingots. For production you need the following resources:
- Lavolite×15;
- Obsidian block×35;
- Powder core×3.
The ingots themselves also contain 2 pieces of lavolite.
Bake
The oven is necessary to cook food with increased bonuses. The crafting recipe includes the following resources:
- Lavolite×8;
- Copper ingot×15;
- Obsidian block×35.
