Best Honkai Star Rail Characters: Hero Tier List [3.3]

Current rating of all characters - general and endgame.

Star Express Representatives and Stellaron Hunters

Tier list of characters Honkai: StarRail is based on the effectiveness of heroes in battle and represents a holistic assessment of the abilities of each unit. The rating is divided into five categories, including positions for current endgame content modes. Such systematization is aimed at helping players choose characters that are unique in their niche and are able to offer a comfortable age of any activity. Each rank includes representatives of damage-dealing Paths, as well as s and sustainers (healers and shielders).

Accordingly, the top of the best HSR heroes is formed on the basis of their relevance. In addition, the key factor for success in the realities of turn-based combat is not so much the strength and damage of an individual fighter, but his usefulness in battle and flexibility, allowing him to adapt to various situations.

Honkai: Star Rail Hero Tier List

 of the "Star Express" faction

Character Rating displays the overall picture, and not each individual case. Each character is provided with a detailed description of the uniqueness of its functionality and mechanics, in addition, an optimal eidolon is proposed - this should help to assess how useful the hero will be to the not only at the initial, but also at later stages of development.

S+ rank

Universal characters that can easily handle high-level content even without legendary gear and eidolons. They combine several functions at once, have no alternative and/or occupy a step higher than other units of their Path/damage type. Thanks to their flexibility, they are almost irreplaceable heroes и useful at any stage of the game.

Character Rankings in Endgame Modes

Considering that the relevance of heroes may vary within the framework of pasdated modes "Pure Fiction", it is important to understand: some units are very good at clearing AoE content, while others, on the contrary, are only good when fighting large single targets. Below is a rating under every type of endgame content, thanks to which you can evaluate the uniqueness and versatility of a particular character at the peak of strength and capabilities.

Oblivion Hall

The Hall of Oblivion is a mode that primarily consists of fighting one major goal. Accordingly, for the age of "Memories", heroes that demonstrate high damage to a solo target, or meta s that can significantly speed up the age of content thanks to the distributed bonuses, are in great demand.

Pure fiction

Pure fiction, on the other hand, focuses on evaluation. AoE potential squad. As a result, the value of characters that are able to withstand waves of opponents in a short time, replacing each other after death, increases. Less important, in turn, are the representatives of the Hunt, since their solo-target capabilities extremely slow down the age of rooms even at the peak of investments. A similar fate awaits some epic "mass" units, since they cannot offer enough damage without proper pumping and top-tier s in the group.

The illusion of the end

The Illusion of the End has concentrated in itself groups of ordinary opponents and a powerful single enemy (or several at once). Because of this, the greatest relevance is offered by units of the universal type, that is, with good area damage and solo targetAdditionally, the value of certain characters increases depending on the bonuses offered by the mode, so the hero positions may vary from update to update.

S+ Grade Characters

The characters presented below are some of the best representatives of their class and universal fighters that fit seamlessly into a variety of content. They have a unique combination of abilities, so it is almost impossible for them to find an equivalent replacement.

Hyacinth

Hyacinth (Memory: Windy)

Role: Sustain (healer)
Optimal Eidolon: E1

Hyacinth (Memory: Windy) is considered a unique representative of her class, which significantly sures many heroes of Abundance. The priestess of Ohema not only restores health, but also deals good damage with the skill of the summoned creature Iki. Moreover, DPS increases during the battle: the more often and more the girl replenishes the "bank" of allies, the more amazing the final explosive damage from the skill of the spirit of memory.

An additional feature of the character is the ability to increase the base HP of allies, which makes her one of the desired heroines of the sustain type in squads that play from the consumption and / or burning of health. In particular, the baby will be a great addition to such DPS'ers as Midey (Destruction: Imaginary), Kastoria (Memory: Quantum) и Blade (Destruction: Wind). The "minuses", in turn, include dependence on a high speed indicator - it is extremely important for the priestess to have 200+ units of characteristics, thus, the need for a signature light cone, which offers 18% to the characteristic, increases.

Kastoria

Kastoria (Memory: Quantum)

Role: Basic DPS
Optimal Eidolon: E2

Kastoria (Memory: Quantum) Summons the Wings of Death creature using a technique or superpower, and subsequently advances its action forward by 100%. The assistant is the main source of damage and deals damage in an area, cleaning up groups of enemies quite well. At the same time, the heroine can also deal damage when using the skill alone or together with the spirit. The main skills, in turn, consume HP of all allies.

The character in synergy with his assistant is capable of producing high damage numbers with minimal investment. As for the team, the choice of allies is small, but some of the best partners are budget heroes in the person of Pioneer (Memory: Ice) и Gallagher (Abundance: Fire). In addition, it is worth noting a certain dependence on the signal due to the modest number of alternatives among the weapons intended for her class. However, despite the nuances in the assembly and not the most "friendly" mechanics, with the appropriate investments and understanding of the principle of the skills, the heroine can easily close any content.

Aglaia

Aglaya (Memory: Electric)

Role: Basic DPS
Optimal Eidolon: E2

Aglaya (Memory: Electric) attacks enemies together with the summoned spirit Seamstress. During battles, he relies on a superpower that puts him in a state "Highest form" and transforms the basic attack into a strengthened version. As part of the "Kiss of a Thousand Cuts", it performs an AoE strike in tandem with the spirit of memory. The "Highest Form" status, in turn, has a huge impact on the character's speed indicator. As a result, the entire rotation revolves around "Dance, Born to Be a Seamstress".

In addition to attack characteristics (crit. damage, crit. chance and attack power), it requires an external increase in speed, which may lead to the need to knock out a signature light cone. At the same time, belonging to Memory makes it dependent on certain units: for effective play it is extremely important to have Sundays (Harmony: Imaginary), or fully upgraded Pioneer (Memory: Ice). To sum it up, the heroine will undoubtedly become an excellent combat unit for completing high-level updated modes, but in return she will require serious investments.

Greater Hertha

Great Hertha (Erudition: Ice)

Role: Basic DPS
Optimal Eidolon: E2

Great Hertha (Erudition: Ice) is aimed at effectively destroying waves of enemies ("Pure Fiction"). During the battle, the heroine actively strengthens herself and her allies under certain conditions, and her main mechanic is the status "Interpretation" (accumulates personally or with the help of other squad ). This effect affects the multiple increase in outgoing DPS, which allows her to act against single targets and, accordingly, close the "Hall of Oblivion" and "Illusion of the End" without much difficulty.

The problem that most players who want to play with a girl may have is the unit's need for other representatives of Erudition because of the conditions inherent in the skills and traces. In this, as in some other respects, it begins to resemble Acheron (Non-existence: Electricity), demanding of allies of the Non-Existence and/or the second eidolon to simplify the conventions of hidden talents. As a result, on the one hand, the unit does not offer anything new, but on the other hand, it closes the need for a hero suitable for diverse content.

Rappa

Rappa (Erudition: Imaginary)

Role: Basic DPS
Optimal Eidolon: E1

Rappa (Erudition: Imaginary) Specializes in breaking through vulnerability. During combat, her main task is to deplete the stamina bar of all enemies by inflicting massive damage. She mainly relies on her enhanced basic attack, which is activated after using her super ability and lasts for several turns, allowing her to deal more damage to enemies.

In addition, the heroine has a talent that buffs an improved version of the attack. To do this, you need to get charges for penetration, which can be helped by allies (budget ones in the person of the imaginary Pioneer и fiery Gallagher, or such expensive units as Fire Fugue, Fire Linsha и Ice Ruan Mei). The Ninja from the Galactic Rangers is great for completing Pure Fiction, and also deals decent damage to single targets, which will be suitable for completing other high-level content.

Acheron

Acheron (Nothingness: Electric)

Role: Basic DPS
Optimal Eidolon: E2

Acheron (Nothingness: Electric), unlike most representatives of his class, is a classic damage dealer, around which the team is built. The Galactic Ranger has a unique mechanic of the ult, which does not require energy - instead, it is necessary to apply weakening to enemies during the battle and thereby accumulate points of the special charge "Cleaved Dream". At the same time, the ultimate is the main source of DPS and, when assembled correctly, demonstrates huge damage numbers, capable of suring the heroes of the Hunt, Erudition and Destruction.

Despite her excellent results and versatility, the girl is quite difficult to assemble: you need balanced characteristics, maximum pumping and a suitable squad. The latter is due to the fact that the heroine receives a high increase in damage due to the "Abyss" trace, for the activation of which the group must have two allies of the Path of Non-Existence. The requirement is reduced to 1 character with only the second eidolon open. If you add to this the need for constant debuffs, the signature light cone also becomes in demand.

Anaxa

Anaxa (Erudition: Windy)

Role: Primary or secondary DPS
Optimal Eidolon: E1-E2

Anaxa (Erudition: Windy) — a unique representative of his class, whose skills are focused on maintaining several vulnerabilities on the enemy. He is a good secondary damage dealer, covering the need for AoE potential, and is also considered the best ally for Great Hertha (Erudition: Ice), since their mechanics complement each other.

He can easily act as the main DPS character of the group, especially if you provide him with the highest tier Harmony, which can accelerate combat characteristics to extreme values. Not too demanding on signature weapons due to the epic light cone "Business on a cosmic scale", repeating some of the effects. However, to achieve maximum efficiency, especially in the hyper-carry position, investments of any type are considered mandatory.

Jasper

Jasper (Erudition: Quantum)

Role: Minor DPS
Optimal Eidolon: E1

Mechanics Jaspers (Erudition: Quantum) is tied to the implementation of constant bonus attacks, as well as third-party of allies. With the skill, the heroine imposes a special status on one selected ally, increasing speed, at the same time, his attacks are ed by additional quantum striking power from the top manager of the KMM. The main "minus" of the girl is that the charges accumulated during the battle are tied to the number of opponents: the more enemies, the more often the girl's talent is triggered.

Thus, the character is extremely limited as a representative of the Path of Erudition. Her potential is revealed exclusively in activities similar to “Pure Fiction”; in addition, it is extremely important for her to be in teams with allies who can attack in an area. The situation is corrected by the presence of the first eidolon, but the difficulties are only “smoothed out” and do not disappear completely.

Tribby

Tribby (Harmony: Quantum)

Role: Secondary DPS, (buffer)
Optimal Eidolon: E1

Tribby (Harmony: Quantum), in addition to applying buffs, helps to inflict more damage in the area with the help of a bonus attack and super ability. In its arsenal contains universal enhancements in the form of increasing the penetration of all types of resistance and damage received by opponents, which makes it an excellent for any damage dealers. However, the features of its mechanics, namely the third trace, suggest more effective interaction with heroes who deal damage to several targets.

The messenger gets energy for her teammates hitting enemies. In addition, the fact that the heroine herself deals damage in an area allows her to show herself well in content like "Pure Fiction". Her synergy with units that do damage less often and/or to single targets, in turn, is not very high. However, the ability to gather through a "fast" build will compensate for the missing energy, although in this case, personal DPS is reduced.

Jiaoqiu

Jiaoqiu (Nothingness: Fire)

Role: (debuffer), secondary DPS
Optimal Eidolon: E1

Jiaoqiu (Nothingness: Fire) can fill the debuffer position in most squads, as well as help with off-target damage through direct hits and the Burning DoT status, which is equivalent to his Burning Ash debuff stacks. He is a great companion for any DPS character, especially if the DPS character needs a damage boost from a super ability (such as Knight of Beauty Argenti).

Despite being in demand in different compositions, it demonstrates the highest efficiency when paired with Acheron (Nothingness: Electric), Dr. Ratio (Hunt: Imaginary) and units that play from periodic damage. It is worth noting that the character itself is undemanding in assembly: the only parameter that needs to be brought to a high value is the chance of effects hitting.

Fugue

Fugue (Non-existence: Fire)

Role: (buffer, debuffer), secondary DPS
Optimal Eidolon: E2

Fugue (Non-existence: Fire) - a debuffer whose main purpose is to allies by applying buffs to them or constantly weakening enemies. It can do good damage, but this is only a side focus.

She mainly plays in squads focused on penetrating vulnerabilities - this is the mechanic that the fox's gameplay is built around. She provides allies with an increase in the penetration effect, allows them to ignore the initial weaknesses of enemies, and in addition reduces defense, which is one of the strongest bonuses for this type of team. Although the girl has competition in the form of a free Pioneer (Harmony: Imaginary), is a powerful candidate for "punchy" teams with its own unique advantages.

Pioneer (Memory)

Pioneer (Memory: Ice)

Role: (buffer), secondary DPS
Optimal Eidolon: E6

Pioneer (Memory: Ice) Calls upon the active spirit of memory within the battle Memo. The main focus of the character is to other representatives of damage-dealing classes, including with a summoned creature (for example, demigoddess Aglaya). Thanks to Memo's ive skills, he increases the squad's critical damage and is also able to advance the action of a selected ally. Additionally, the spirit of memory deals true damage, calculated as a fixed value from the number of DPS inflicted by a fighter with the " Memo" status.

The unit, in turn, can be compared with the budget version of such a hero as Sunday (Harmony: Imaginary), making it capable of replacing the named representative in F2P teams that play from memory spirits/summoned creatures.

Sunday

Sunday (Harmony: Imaginary)

Role: (buffer)
Optimal Eidolon: E1

Sunday (Harmony: Imaginary) unique mechanics - the spread of positive bonuses to an ally and his summoned creature/spirit of memory in particular (for example, Jing Yuan and his Lightning Lord, Aglaya and her Seamstress). The list of ed buffs includes: increased critical rate, increased overall outgoing damage, restoration of energy and skill points when the main skill "Blessing of Paper and Rites" is directed at a "Blessed" ally.

Despite the fact that the character specializes in ing a specific type of units, he is a strong in different builds thanks to universal buffs. As a result, he can become a for any representative of Hunting, Erudition, Destruction, Oblivion or Memory. In return, he only needs high increases in energy recovery speed and critical damage.

Zaryanka

Robin (Harmony: Phychic)

Role: (buffer)
Optimal Eidolon: E1

Robin (Harmony: Phychic) is engaged in the distribution and maintenance of various positive increases that affect the entire squad. Her main skill is a skill aimed at increasing the damage inflicted by allies. The duration "depends" on the moves made by the Galovian singer, which can be especially useful if the team has a "fast" DPS character who performs up to 2-3 actions per battle cycle. In turn, the main advantage is high synergy with characters capable of inflicting bonus attacks. The positive trait is revealed thanks to the "Improvised Decoration" trace.

The disadvantages include high demands on such a characteristic as "energy recovery speed". Without signature weapons, it is in dire need of a connecting rope that increases this parameter. As a result, if we consider investing in the first eidolon or signature light cone, priority should be given to the second option - this will significantly simplify the assembly of the girl.

ruan mei

Ruan Mei (Harmony: Ice)

Role: (buffer)
Optimal Eidolon: E1

Ruan Mei (Harmony: Ice) Offers his squad a boost to all damage, speed, and penetration efficiency without consuming many skill points. Since the bonuses are shared among all teammates, he excels in multi-DPS builds.

The main feature of the heroine is the development of such a characteristic as the penetration effect. In addition to the fact that it helps to break enemy shields faster, it also increases the penetration of elemental resistance, prolongs the effect of penetration and itself deals damage, which depends on this stat. Suitable for F2P players and is easy to collect, but most of her buffs "burn out" during the turn, which complicates the balance of speed: it is important to walk not too fast and not too slow.

Aventurine

Aventurine (Save: False)

Role: Sustain (shields), secondary DPS
Optimal Eidolon: E1

Aventurine (Save: False) is capable of ing the squad with powerful shields on a permanent basis, as well as acting as a secondary DPS character, dealing massive damage through bonus attacks. Offers good synergy to heroes whose mechanics are similarly built around performing additional attacks out of turn. The reason is the hidden stat "Bingo!", which allows you to quickly accumulate charges of "Blind Bet" if an ally under the influence of "Fortified Bet" (shield from the skill) performs a bonus attack.

The main combat indicator that needs to be upgraded is: protection: the named stat affects both the outgoing damage figures and the strength of the applied shields. However, for full implementation in the position of additional striking power, it is demanding of the imaginary increase, as well as crits (critical damage and critical hit chance). However, thanks to the huge number of diverse light cones of epic rarity, it acquires some ease in of assembly, which will especially please F2P players.

Linsha

Linsha (Abundance: Fire)

Role: Sustain (Healer), Secondary DPS
Optimal Eidolon: E1

Linsha (Abundance: Fire) Heals allies, and also has the ability to debuff and deal area damage. It is a legendary alternative. Gallagher (Abundance: Fire), because, like the bartender, he shows himself well in squads that play from penetration. As part of the battle, he summons a helper hare, which is a bonus attack, deals damage and at the same time heals/removes weakening. It is on this creature that the main part of the gameplay is built - it must be promoted and periodically add actions.

The healer will be an optimal addition to any team, despite her initial specialization. The presence of ive and instant healing is in demand by many characters, and constant damage through active abilities will be useful, for example, in Pure Fiction. It is also worth noting the fact that Linsha is quite effective in builds from a bonus strike or in synergy with heroes for whom frequent attacks are important, as in the case of Feixiao (Hunt: Wind).

Hoho

Hoho (Abundance: Windy)

Role: Sustain (healer), (buffer)
Optimal Eidolon: E2

Hoho (Abundance: Windy) performs several tasks at once: provides healing, strengthens allies and removes debuffs from them. The trainee judge effectively heals several squad with a skill, and also ively with a talent when one of the teammates' health drops to half. All the main buffs are concentrated in the ult, after which it restores energy and increases attack power.

The timid girl will fit into any squad due to her stable healing and the buffs that are in demand for most damage dealers. At the same time, she does not require serious investments, since equipping an epic cone is enough to achieve the main goal. Eidolons, although good, are not strictly necessary. The only thing is, unlike the same Lochi (Abundance: Imaginary), is less "friendly" in of spending skill points, but offers nice bonuses in return.

Gallagher

Gallagher (Abundance: Fire)

Role: Sustain (healer), (debuffer)
Optimal Eidolon: E2

Gallagher (Abundance: Fire) differs from other representatives of the healer class by its unique healing mechanics, built on negative statuses. Health is restored after allied attacks on opponents with a weakening of "Dead Drunk", as well as an enhanced basic attack and skill. The character also stands out with scales, which suggest a build with an emphasis on the penetration effect and the bonus of outgoing healing, since the amount of regeneration does not depend on other parameters, but increases through traces and equipment.

The man has the ability to impose additional mass debuffs, which is relevant for most game mechanics, which is why he will fit into any squad in two positions. The status is imposed through the ultimate skill, so the character is undemanding to action points with sufficient pumping and the right build. With the opening of the second eidolon, he receives an important skill for s to remove debuffs from allies, as a result, before it is unlocked, he is much inferior to other healers.

S-rank characters

These heroes are almost as good as the S+ rank representatives, but still have some drawbacks that prevent them from taking a higher position. However, they are no less effective and useful in battle, and are also suitable for completing the main part of the content.

Midey

Midey (Destruction: Imaginary)

Role: Basic DPS
Optimal Eidolon: E2

Midey (Destruction: Imaginary) plays from consuming his own health in favor of accumulating levels of "Charge". Its main feature is the mechanics of carrying out automatic strikes, that is, the demigod of Discord uses enhanced variations of the skill on his own - you do not need to press the skill for this. In fact, this unique feature can be called both a "minus" and a "plus" of the character. However, the first case is fully compensated by high damage, thanks to which he feels great in the context of ing high-level content.

One way or another, the man is in reality needs good sustain, since in a reinforced stance the hero is completely deprived of survivability, which, in the absence of normal swinging, in turn, can quickly lead to a tragic outcome - and even the ability to avoid death once per battle will not have an effective effect.

Firefly

Firefly (Destruction: Fire)

Role: Basic DPS
Optimal Eidolon: E2

Firefly (Destruction: Fire) played through the "breakthrough effect" characteristic. Partly a universal replacement for Boothill (Hunt: Physical), which has a similar build. In turn, the main feature of the participant of the organization "Stellaron Hunters" is an enhanced stance, which is activated when the girl uses a superpower. Subsequently, during the battle, she effectively imposes a fire vulnerability on opponents with a skill and, as a result, quickly breaks through the general resistance bar.

In part, the character build can be called simple, since you have to concentrate on the growth of two indicators - attack power and penetration effect, respectively. But the need for high percentages for comfortable gameplay can face certain difficulties. It is important for the Firefly to have the imaginary Pioneer at a minimum; at a maximum - collected Ice Ruan Mei и fiery fugue, which have high synergy with characters playing from EP.

Boothill

Boothill (Hunt: Physical)

Role: Basic DPS
Optimal Eidolon: E2

Boothill (Hunt: Physical) takes the position of the main damage dealer. During the battle, the cyborg cowboy focuses on quickly breaking through the vulnerability and dealing with large single targets. To effectively defeat opponents, he uses a dueling style of combat, which makes his basic attacks stronger, allows him to inflict more damage and quickly reduce the durability of his opponent.

The hero does not depend on the initial weakness of the enemy, as he can impose physical vulnerability on his own with the ult. As a result, he is considered a self-sufficient and strong representative of his class, but the Path is both his strength and weakness. In content that requires area damage, for example, in Pure Fiction, the cowboy is not able to fully reveal himself due to the concentration of the skill set exclusively on the solo target. However, it is in his niche that he occupies one of the leading positions.

Feixiao

Feixiao (Hunt: Wind)

Role: Basic DPS
Optimal Eidolon: E1

Feixiao (Hunt: Wind) — a damage dealer who specializes in destroying single elite opponents. The skill set includes both regular skills and a bonus attack that is activated by any hits from allies. Has a unique type of superpower, reminiscent of the Acheron ultimate (Nothingness: Electric): instead of standard energy, special stacks are required, and the enemy target's vulnerability is ignored during use.

The Arbiter General pairs well with heroes that can consistently deal damage throughout the fight, as this allows for faster stacking of the ult and the ability to perform a bonus attack. In addition, the woman is an easy-to-learn character that combines accessible mechanics and decent damage, making her equally suitable for both new and experienced players. She is most effective in modes that require taking down large mobs, such as the Hall of Oblivion or Illusion of the End.

Argenti

Argenti (Erudition: Physical)

Role: Primary or secondary DPS
Optimal Eidolon: E1

Argenti (Erudition: Physical) — a character with high DPS and powerful for a damage dealer own buffs. The main advantage is the virtually free critical characteristics (on E0 only crit. chance), which the Knight of Beauty accumulates by hitting enemies. Having the hero in the team greatly simplifies the age of content, where there is a battle against waves of enemies. At the same time, he demonstrates himself well in battles with elite opponents and bosses thanks to a powerful super ability.

Has a unique mechanic of two levels of the ultimate, which depends on the current amount of energy. The enhanced version of the super ability allows you to inflict increased damage on all targets. At the same time, the standard ult will almost always be charged, which can be used to finish off a wave or destroy vulnerabilities at a critical moment. Since the knight's damage comes mainly from the ult, it can be highly dependent on the speed of energy accumulation. In conjunction with him, s that can "fill" the bank are highly recommended.

Jing Yuan

Jing Yuan (Erudition: Electric)

Role: Basic DPS
Optimal Eidolon: E1

Jing Yuan (Erudition: Electric) specializes in dealing electrical damage to multiple enemies at once. Its main mechanic is Summon Lightning Lord, which significantly increases the power of his attacks. For this reason, he combines effectively with s that specialize in strengthening summons. In particular, he is ideal in tandem with Sunday (Harmony: Imaginary), since it has the necessary and at the same time universal buffs.

Due to the high and stable area damage, General Lofu is optimally used during the age of "Pure Fiction". However, the powerful strikes of the Lord of Lightning will also be useful against single targets. One of the key disadvantages is the fact that the hero cannot be under control effects due to the fact that his summoned creature stops working. Thus, for comfortable implementation, it is important to provide the unit with stable protection.

Serval

Serval (Erudition: Electric)

Role: Minor DPS
Optimal Eidolon: E4

Serval (Erudition: Electric) has quite strong area attacks and is an excellent main damage dealer for beginners. Quite convenient and easy to use, thanks to which it can be included in any composition if mass damage is required, or enemies have a weakness to the electric element. At the same time, the girl shows herself well in squads from periodic damage due to the mechanics of imposing the "Shock" status.

In later stages, Serval effectively acts as an additional source of DPS, aided by his consistent damage output with his ultimate and extremely low skill point cost, making him a versatile for endgame content and excelling in Pure Fiction.

Hertha

Gerta (Erudition: Ice)

Role: Minor DPS
Optimal Eidolon: E6

Gerta (Erudition: Ice) — one of the most convenient characters for completing "Pure Fiction" due to the bonus attack mechanics, which applies to all opponents. For beginners, she is an excellent guide in starting activities and story quests, and subsequently remains an undemanding and comfortable to use secondary damage dealer.

The girl herself cannot boast of high damage, as a result, her usefulness is mainly limited to content that requires dealing damage to an area. Despite this, the heroine is still able to find a use for herself and in certain situations becomes the best budget option for the team. For example, the character has high synergy with her five-star version - Great Hertha.

sang

Pela (Nonexistence: Ice)

Role: (debuffer)
Optimal Eidolon: E4

Pela (Nonexistence: Ice) — an epic heroine who focuses on reducing the defense of enemy targets and removing positive effects from them. Quite a strong and versatile , capable of entering any lineup and being extremely useful. First of all, this is due to the defense cut, which is one of the most powerful damage multipliers.

The key drawback of the girl is that she does not dispel all enemy buffs, since some statuses cannot be removed initially. Otherwise, the girl demonstrates a high degree of efficiency, starting from the early stages of the game, when the beginner encounters high-level and difficult enemies.

Sparkle

Sparkle (Harmony: Quantum)

Role: (buffer)
Optimal Eidolon: E1

Sparkle (Harmony: Quantum) — a versatile heroine who has attracted attention with her mechanics of increasing the skill point limit and instantly restoring it. Additionally, the arsenal of skills contains other powerful buffs that will fully satisfy the needs of many damage dealers. For example, the talent contains a bonus to increase the damage dealt, which is further increased after using the super ability. The skill increases the critical damage of the selected ally and extends its effect by half.

The heroine's build is based on three characteristics: critical damage, speed and energy recovery. However, a narrow range of parameters does not greatly simplify the build. The named stats need to be given a lot of attention and pumped up to high values. The signature light cone with the first eidolon, which contain additional buffs for the team along with an increase in the stats of the unit itself, is in demand for the "slouch". Fortunately for F2P s, even with minimal investment, the heroine is able to demonstrate high usefulness in many groups thanks to fixed multipliers of distributed buffs.

Pioneer (Harmony)

Pioneer (Harmony: Imaginary)

Role: (buffer, debuffer)
Optimal Eidolon: E6

Pioneer (Harmony: Imaginary) — a free legendary character who distributes bonuses that increase such a characteristic as the "penetration effect". Due to the fact that this parameter is highly specialized, the hero himself is best revealed in certain squads that "play" from the rapid decrease in the enemy's resistance scale. Moreover, the Pathfinder combines especially well with those who benefit from "super penetration", which means he is an excellent budget partner for the Firefly (Destruction: Fire).

Fu Xuan

Fu Xuan (Save: Quantum)

Role: Sustain (shields, tank)
Optimal Eidolon: E2

Fu Xuan (Save: Quantum) — a character with her own features that distinguish her from other representatives of this class. For example, she does not apply shields, but can redirect 65% of damage received by allies to herself, increase their HP and crit. chance, and also heal the entire squad if the "Dunjia Prophecy" trace is open. The Seer combines the functionality of several Paths at once: Harmony, Abundance and Preservation, which makes her a fairly versatile fighter.

With proper rotation and selection of characteristics, the girl becomes an excellent , who can maintain the survivability of the team without outside help. At the same time, she is undemanding to the build or equipment, since it is enough to equip a free or epic cone and collect as much health as possible, affecting the entire set of her skills. It is impossible not to mention the super ability that deals damage in an area, which will also provide additional to the team.

Locha

Locha (Abundance: Imaginary)

Role: Sustain (healer)
Optimal Eidolon: E0

Skill Set Lochi (Abundance: Imaginary) Provides the team with instant and gradual healing due to the skill triggering when an ally's HP drops to 50% or less, as well as the "Magic Circle" mechanics. During the existence of the zone on the battlefield, any hits heal both the attacker and the rest of the allies when pumping the "Consecrated" trace.

The male merchant also stands out because, despite belonging to the healer class, he can deal damage to an area with a super ability, and as an additional bonus, remove one buff from all targets at once. At the same time, the imaginary element type allows you to delay their actions when breaking through the enemy's resistance. The unit will fit into any squad and will bring significant benefits when ing high-level content. However, heroes who play from bonus attacks or those who sacrifice their own/others' health to increase damage will be more happy with him.

A-rank characters

These heroes have no less potential than S+ and S ranks both in of damage and efficiency. The only drawback is that they are easier to replace and/or have certain nuances that prevent them from reaching their full potential.

Yunli

Yunli (Destruction: Physical)

Role: Primary or secondary DPS
Optimal Eidolon: E1

Yunli (Destruction: Physical) represents a more flexible alternative Clare (Destruction: Physical), as it follows the same Path and has an identical damage type. Skills focus on consistently reflecting blows and then inflicting damage. The main source of damage is the super ability, which imposes the "Block" status and allows you to perform the most powerful move.

During combat, the swordswoman wants to receive as many incoming hits as possible in order to counterattack and recharge her energy. Although she does not stand out among other combat characters with any unique mechanics, she is a good addition to any squad that needs a unit that can tank and at the same time act as an additional source of physical damage.

Moon Eater

Moon Eater (Destruction: Imaginary)

Role: Basic DPS
Optimal Eidolon: E2

Moon Eater (Destruction: Imaginary) has high damage to single targets and groups of enemies. Despite the fact that the representatives of the Path of Destruction are distinguished by their versatility (if necessary, they can act as both the main and secondary DPS heroes), Dan Heng's legendary form is not similar to his classmates: the reason lies in the peculiarity of his mechanics associated with the skill "Unrestrained". Using it up to 3 times, the elder Vidyadhara strengthens the basic attack, thus, from the "Lotus of Patronage" the skill is transformed into a more powerful form, which inflicts stunning damage in numbers both to the selected target and to those adjacent to it.

This feature of the skill involves constant expenditure of skill points. After activating the ultimate ability, they can be replaced by consuming "Dragon Scales", but even this "indulgence" in the form of a convenient equivalent will not always save at the decisive moment of the battle. The named reason puts the legendary hero only in the role of the main DPS character: the position of a secondary damage dealer, although possible, will not allow Dan Heng to open up at all.

Blade

Blade (Destruction: Wind)

Role: Primary or secondary DPS
Optimal Eidolon: E1

Blade (Destruction: Wind) sacrifices his health to deal devastating damage to his opponents. Despite the fact that his mechanics are somewhat reminiscent of Arlana (Destruction: Electric), Stellaron Hunter plays and builds differently. Using almost every active ability causes him to lose HP. Because of this, all damage scales from max health, which requires building the character as a tank, while balancing crits.

Blade's key feature is that it is desirable for him to receive damage during combat. Since this affects not only the damage of the ultimate, but also allows him to perform a bonus attack that deals damage to all enemies. Due to the ability to self-heal and the need to be under attack, he does not always need in the form of shielders. However, his own healing is not so effective as to refuse healers. Therefore, the presence of heroes of the Path of Abundance in the team becomes almost a must.

Clara

Clara (Destruction: Physical)

Role: Primary or secondary DPS
Optimal Eidolon: E1

Clara (Destruction: Physical) can act as a tank, damage dealer, and at the same time. Has excellent base stats except for speed, which becomes unimportant as her combat style is based on counterattacks. Her ultimate reduces damage taken and increases counterattack damage, and her technique allows her to draw the attention of enemies to herself at the start of a battle.

The wandering girl works well with healers who can protect the team and restore its health. The only problem with the heroine is her specialization in protracted battles. The little one cannot boast high damage numbers, which means she either requires Harmony and/or Oblivion units, or is used exclusively as a secondary damage dealer.

Kafka

Kafka (Non-Being: Electric)

Role: Basic DPS
Optimal Eidolon: E2

Kafka (Non-Being: Electric), despite belonging to the Path of Nothingness, primarily specializes in destroying enemies. Its key mechanics are tied to the imposition of the "Shock" status, which causes periodic damage. At the same time, thanks to the skill and superpower (pumping the "Torture" trace is important), it instantly activates all imposed DoT damage effects, which solves one of the main problems of teams playing from this mechanic, making them more mobile.

Topaz and the ant

Topaz (Hunt: Fire)

Role: Minor DPS
Optimal Eidolon: E1

Topaz (Hunt: Fire) — a representative with high damage to one target, which is provided by coordinating the girl's actions with the ant's bonus attacks. With the skill, the senior KMM employee imposes the "Certificate of Debt" status on the enemy, thereby marking the enemy as a target for the companion's strike. This effect has a list of enhancements for the piggy bank and the squad as a whole - the damage received by the enemy from bonus strikes increases.

In the squad, she mainly occupies the position of a secondary damage dealer. Although her damage multipliers are high enough to deal all the damage alone, she is best revealed in combination with heroes with similar mechanics. When choosing a squad for the girl, it is also worth considering that the heroine does not have AoE skills, which means she will need help in battles against numerous groups of enemies.

March 7 (Hunting)

March 7 (Hunt: Imaginary)

Role: Minor DPS
Optimal Eidolon: E6

March 7 (Hunt: Imaginary) — one of the 4⭐️ forms of the Nameless, which fixes her in the position of a secondary damage dealer. Attacks opponents with imaginary damage, and with the skill appoints an allied hero as a "Teacher", then endowing him with a certain bonus depending on the Path occupied. With the acquisition of eidolons, she receives the mechanics of bonus attacks, which only increases her combat potential. In general, she is a good unit of the damage-dealing class, which is able to hyper-carry with its own attacks. Versatile and accessible, therefore, she is a good choice for F2P players.

Himeko

Himeko (Erudition: Fire)

Role: Minor DPS
Optimal Eidolon: E2

Himeko (Erudition: Fire) specializes in performing a bonus attack. Can be assembled as a classic combat unit with crits or as a character playing from penetration. Mainly plays the role of an additional damage dealer due to the fact that it does not need constant consumption of skill points and s the squad quite well, making attacks outside of its turn.

The main "minuses" include the presence of fairly strong competition from other DPS units and the lack of versatility in the arsenal of techniques. In addition, Himeko begins to significantly sag in battles against single targets or opponents that cannot be penetrated, which limits her potential. In the latter case, it becomes more difficult to activate bonus attacks, which make up a significant part of the total damage.

Black Swan

Black Swan (Nonexistence: Windy)

Role: Minor DPS
Optimal Eidolon: E2

Black Swan (Nonexistence: Windy) is focused on dealing damage through "Weathering". Its main mechanic is the accumulation of levels of the "Arcane" debuff, which is considered periodic damage by default, but after using the superpower it becomes all DoT statuses at once. This feature, in turn, allows the fortune teller to effectively interact with heroes who receive a certain benefit from the presence of statuses with per. damage on enemies.

Memory Keeper is a perfect complement to the classic Electric Kafka teams and works well with other characters that have similar mechanics. She also offers various nerfs, such as lowering defense or increasing the damage taken by enemies from the Insight status. This allows her to play outside of DoT squads, but it is worth understanding that in this case, her damage drops significantly.

Armor

Armor (Harmony: Wind)

Role: (buffer)
Optimal Eidolon: E1

Armor (Harmony: Wind) — a standard character that focuses on spreading positive effects. Her skill allows an ally to immediately perform an action, additionally increases the damage dealt, and her super ability provides an increase in attack power and critical damage. For this reason, the girl excels in strengthening "slow" allies and other hyper-carries.

One of the most significant disadvantages is the "gluttony" in of spending skill points, which forces you to carefully think through each move. Because of this, the girl may need to open the first eidolon or have a signature cone, as they provide the ability to restore skill points and thus facilitate the gameplay and rotation of the entire team.

tingyun

Tingyun (Harmony: Electric)

Role: (buffer)
Optimal Eidolon: E2

Tingyun (Harmony: Electric) — a fairly strong epic specializing in increasing the power of allies. The heroine is able to significantly increase the damage of her main damage dealer, making her an excellent 4⭐️ alternative to legendary buffers. Mainly focused on increasing attack power and energy recovery, which means she will be useful for characters with an "expensive" superpower, or those who open from the ultimate (for example, physical Argenti).

Bailu

Bailu (Abundance: Electric)

Role: Sustain (healer)
Optimal Eidolon: E1

Bailu (Abundance: Electric) — a standard healer who provides the squad with timely in the form of mass healing. Can heal instantly or apply the "Cheerfulness" effect, which additionally restores HP to allies in case of damage. Lady Dragon is a "pure" representative of Abundance without additional functions, since all her abilities are aimed only at maintaining the health of her partners.

Despite the fact that Baylu is the only character capable of resurrection (no Eidolons or anything else required), this unique feature pales in comparison to other s who can remove debuffs through their skills. With each patch, more and more enemies are added that inflict negative statuses, making a team without a who can remove debuffs extremely easy prey.

B-rank characters

These heroes have good potential, but there are certain drawbacks that prevent them from climbing to a higher position. However, with proper investment, pumping and from other team , they are able to compete with the previous ranks or become a great addition to them.

jingliu

Jingliu (Destruction: Ice)

Role: Basic DPS
Optimal Eidolon: E1

Jingliu (Destruction: Ice) in combat, it relies on a special state called "Spectral Transmigration", which advances its action by 100%, increases crit. chance, attack power, and enhances the skill. To enter this state, it is necessary to collect status levels through the use of technique, skill, and superpower. For this reason, the build requires not only crits and attack, but also a sufficient amount of speed and energy recovery.

Mainly occupies the position of the main damage dealer. At the same time, it can act as an additional source of damage, since it does not spend skill points when using the explosive skill. The price of the boost received in the "Spectral Transmigration" state is the health of allies: when the heroine hits enemies in a standing position, the rest of the squad lose HP. Thus, well-pumped healers will be needed in a team with her, especially in difficult combat content ("Hall of Oblivion" or "Illusions of the End").

Xueyi

Xuei (Destruction: Quantum)

Role: Primary or secondary DPS
Optimal Eidolon: E4

Xuei (Destruction: Quantum) plays mainly from the penetration effect. Has good damage against bosses and elite monsters, since the main skills are focused on destroying single targets. The only source of DPS in the area is the skill and the bonus attack from the talent, but even in this case, the damage does not reach all targets, which can complicate the age of such a combat activity as "Pure Fiction".

Considered a good companion for the Hall of Oblivion and Illusion of the End. Such advantages as effective penetration of vulnerability, flexible playstyle and built-in bonuses to important combat indicators make it a good for the main damage dealer, whose gameplay is also built on reducing durability. However, with proper pumping, it can also act as an independent combat unit in the early stages of content.

Doctor Ratio

Dr. Ratio (Hunt: Imaginary)

Role: Basic DPS
Optimal Eidolon: E1

Dr. Ratio (Hunt: Imaginary) has unusual mechanics compared to heroes of his class. The main feature of the scientist from the "Guild of Erudites" is that the main source of his damage is bonus attacks, and the frequency of their actions directly depends on the number of negative statuses affecting the enemy. The ideal characters for Veritas are units of Nothingness.

Despite the fact that the doctor, as a representative of the Path of the Hunt, deals high damage to single targets and is actually a worthy representative of his class, beginners are unlikely to cope with his needs. The very demandingness, given the above-described features, lies in the mandatory presence of debuffers in the squad, who are capable of imposing negative bonuses (at least 3 weakening is required). After all, this determines how often Dr. Ratio can bonus attack. Beginners are limited to debuffing heroes, the only worthy option for them at the initial stages of the game can only be the icy Pela, and she will need additional bonuses in the form of a light cone "Determination shines like pearls of sweat" or the fourth eidolon.

Seele

Zele (Hunt: Quantum)

Role: Basic DPS
Optimal Eidolon: E1

Zele (Hunt: Quantum) effectively against large elite opponents and bosses. Has mechanics that allow her to re-attack after defeating a target, which makes her quite mobile during combat. At the same time, high base speed and the ability to apply buffs to herself further enhance her potential in the context of completing combat content. The girl's main problems are the high consumption of skill points and a certain dependence on equipment/allies.

Despite having her own bonuses, they are not always enough to deal with any opponents she encounters on her own. In addition, the endgame increasingly offers battles with "dense" opponents, even ordinary ones, which does not allow the girl to adequately demonstrate the uniqueness of her own "repeat move" mechanics.

qingque

Qingque (Erudition: Quantum)

Role: Basic DPS
Optimal Eidolon: E6

Qingque (Erudition: Electric) — a free epic heroine with original abilities tied to the extraction of jade bones. Will be especially interesting for those who like to study the game mechanics, working out the best strategy for combat. Despite the fact that the character can demonstrate DPS comparable to many legendary event damage dealers, her effectiveness varies greatly depending on the situation.

The instability of the damage dealt is directly related to the "bones" mechanics, since the outcome of this event is random, which means that at a critical moment the damage may simply not be enough. However, as an alternative, the heroine can be used in the position of a secondary damage dealer with a lower speed. In this case, she does not consume so many skill points, and the team becomes less dependent on randomness.

Mojie

Motse (Hunt: Electric)

Role: Minor DPS
Optimal Eidolon: E2

Motse (Hunt: Electric) is considered an epic version of Topaz, since his abilities and eidolons are similarly aimed at strengthening characters with bonus attack mechanics. He himself acts as an additional damage dealer and after using the skill, attacks opponents from the "shadow". A pretty good ally, revealing the features of many heroes with counterattacks and other additional blows.

It is well suited for F2P players, as it is a gentle unit in of assembly. Among the "minuses" we can highlight the demanding nature of cons that expand combat potential, and the narrow focus within turn-based battles - the character demonstrates personal attack skills against single targets well, but is less effective in modes like "Pure Fiction".

Welt

Welt (Non-existence: Imaginary)

Role: Secondary DPS, (debuffer)
Optimal Eidolon: E4

Welt (Non-existence: Imaginary) — 5⭐️ debuffer from the standard banner. Can become a good unit in the long run, as it slows down enemies and applies the "Conclusion" status to them. The reduction in speed and delay in actions plays an important role, as enemies actually stop attacking allies. Thanks to this mechanic, it becomes possible to completely abandon healers/shielders in certain situations.

However, "slow" mobs are not always the best choice. There are heroes who prefer to fight against active targets, which means that Welt is not in demand in all cases. In addition, he does not have a direct impact on the overall damage of the group, just as he himself is inferior to most secondary DPS units. Despite this, he remains a good hero in his niche and can be useful for increasing survivability.

Guinaifen

Guinaifen (Non-existence: Fire)

Role: Secondary DPS, (debuffer)
Optimal Eidolon: E2

Guinaifen (Non-existence: Fire) During combat, she relies on fire damage from the Burning status. The skill allows the street performer to hit multiple enemies at once, applying periodic damage to each, and with her superpower, she can activate it without waiting for the enemy's turn. Damage from each fire DoT status causes the Fiery Kiss debuff to appear on the targets, increasing the damage taken by enemies.

The heroine's mechanics can be considered both her advantage and her main disadvantage. AoE allows you to instantly apply "Burning" to most enemies, but they will only receive damage on their turn or after using the ultimate. This also applies to the debuff, since its application and stacking directly depends on the periodic status.

Sampo

Sampo (Non-existence: Windy)

Role: Secondary DPS, (debuffer)
Optimal Eidolon: E4

Sampo (Non-existence: Windy) specializes in weakening. However, this is far from the main thing he offers to the team. In particular, the hero is able to deal periodic damage to several targets using the skill and talent, while the ult has a 100% chance to further increase this damage. In addition, the skill set includes a unique technique that can be used at the beginning of the battle to blind enemies and slow down their actions.

At the same time, the hero has a serious problem: his mechanics are aimed at conducting a long fight, and he himself requires fairly high speed and attack power to constantly maintain the blades on the battlefield. In addition, the character is rarely used outside of squads aimed at playing from periodic damage. Based on this, he is more likely a damage dealer in specialized builds than a classic -debuffer.

Silver Wolf

Silver Wolf (Nonexistence: Quantum)

Role: (debuffer), secondary DPS
Optimal Eidolon: E2

Silver Wolf (Nonexistence: Quantum) can impose various negative effects on enemies, such as decreasing speed, defense, and attack power. However, her main feature is a skill that allows her to create a vulnerability of the same type as the attack type of a random ally. For example, if the enemy target does not have a weakness to electro, but someone on the team owns the element, there is a chance that the heroine will impose a vulnerability to this element on the enemy.

Despite the random nature of the ability, when forming a balanced team, the debuff will provide an advantage in battle. However, even if it is not needed, the girl is able to act as a regular .

Hanja

Hanya (Harmony: Physical)

Role: (buffer)
Optimal Eidolon: E4

Equipped with various enhancements and functions, Hanya (Harmony: Physical) can any squad, regardless of the Path and damage type of the main DPS. The gameplay is based on the imposition of a unique status by using a skill and buffing an ally through the ultimate. The effect imposed on the enemy increases the damage dealt and restores a skill point every second attack. The super ability increases the attack power and speed of one of the group .

The girl is primarily in demand in "gluttonous" squads with active consumption of skill points, since she makes rotation in such builds much easier and more comfortable. Of her possible disadvantages, it is worth noting that the negative status does not increase the damage of periodic damage and bonus attacks, just as it does not restore action points in this case. In addition, she has low base stamina, which is why she may require investments in eidolons and relics to maximize her potential.

Asta

Asta (Harmony: Fire)

Role: (buffer)
Optimal Eidolon: E4

Asta (Harmony: Fire) is given for free for the first "Jump" in any of the banners and is able to provide worthy to the team. With the help of talent, she accumulates charges that stack up to 5 times, thanks to this she buffs the attack power of allies. However, the most important feature of the girl is the ult, which increases the speed of all partners, which provides a significant advantage in battle.

The Lead Researcher also seems to be a great character for Fire units, as she has an Ignite trace that increases the damage of that element by 8%. This makes a Mono-Fire unit a viable strategy. Asta's main drawback, however, is that her usefulness decreases when she gets legendary s that provide similar buffs or advance the action.

Cheetah

Cheetah (Save: Ice)

Role: Sustain (shields)
Optimal Eidolon: E2

Cheetah (Save: Ice) — 5⭐️ standard character whose main purpose is to impose strong shields on all allies with a super ability. Thanks to the taunt mechanic, he takes some of the hits on himself, and after receiving fatal damage, he can restore a certain amount of HP and return to the battle with a full supply of energy. He also increases his own attack power based on defense and freezes enemies with a skill.

In a team with the Silvermane Sentinels commander, the need for healers sometimes disappears altogether, since his shield significantly reduces the likelihood of receiving incoming damage. He is also well adapted to late-game content, increasing the team's survivability against powerful opponents. The main inconvenience when using the hero is associated with dependence on the ult, without which it will not be possible to activate shields. In this regard, Cheetah is less comfortable to use than the same imaginary Aventurine or any of the new Abundance units.

Lynx

Lynx (Abundance: Quantum)

Role: Sustain (healer)
Optimal Eidolon: E4

Feature Lynx (Abundance: Quantum) lies in her skill, which not only powerfully heals, but also increases the chance of a Preservation/Destruction character being attacked due to the "Survival Reaction" status. Thus, squads with units that want to be constantly in the "sights" of enemies gain an additional advantage.

Another "plus" of the girl is her super ability, which has both mass healing and the mechanic of removing 1 weakening from all allies. In addition, the researcher is good at spreading statuses responsible for periodic healing, and at E1 she begins to give increases to attack power when applying "Survival Reaction", which will be useful for most DPS characters. In general, Lynx is an excellent healer who competes well in of efficiency with other representatives of Abundance. Especially with proper pumping and a good selection of equipment.

C-rank characters

A number of legendary and epic units, which are less relevant heroes because they require serious investments, and also have alternative characters that, in comparison, perform similar functions much better.

Misha

Role: Primary or secondary DPS
Optimal Eidolon: E4

Misha (Destruction: Ice), whose key skill is a super ability. The ultimate works by "bounce" and allows you to accumulate up to 10 additional hits by using the skill. The advantage of the mechanics of multiple damage is its effectiveness against elite opponents and bosses, thanks to which the guy is considered a good secondary damage dealer.

Additional gameplay conveniences include the low cost of the super ability and the talent, due to which any spent action point stacks the ultimate skill. In addition to the role of a damage dealer, it can also act as a debuffer, freezing enemies and reducing their defense when eidolons are open. However, the doorman has a significant drawback - extremely low base speed. When building, you will have to get a sufficient number of characteristic units, while balancing the parameters that affect damage.

Arlan

Arlan (Destruction: Electric)

Role: Minor DPS
Optimal Eidolon: E4

Arlan (Destruction: Electric) combines skills that deal damage to both single and multiple targets. Has a talent that sacrifices part of HP in exchange for increased damage, which is both his strength and weakness. At the beginning and middle of the game, the mechanics with the loss of health can bring some inconvenience and even complicate the gameplay. In addition, the hero cannot boast of high damage numbers even with significant investments. Basically, he occupies the position of additional DPS in the team, if there are no other electro characters. In this regard, the young man is very convenient because he does not spend skill points at all.

Yanqing

Yanqing (Hunt: Ice)

Role: Basic DPS
Optimal Eidolon: E2

Yanqing (Hunt: Ice) — 5⭐️ standard damage dealer, who is aimed at fighting against single opponents. Because of this, he is mainly suitable only for content that requires destroying bosses or elite monsters. In other scenarios, his effectiveness is significantly reduced. At the beginning of the game, he can easily close the position of the main DPS even with minimal investment and go through any content. However, later the hero faces high competition and a lack of damage even in his field, which he will have to try to carefully compensate for with significant investments in equipment, eidolons and allies.

Dan Heng

Dan Heng (Hunt: Wind)

Role: Basic DPS
Optimal Eidolon: E4

Dan Heng (Hunt: Wind) — a comfortable epic DPS character for F2P players. Together with March 7 (Save) makes a great combo early in the game, allowing you to get through any content without much effort. The hero deals good single-target damage and is useful in boss fights, while the same free Pathfinder (Destruction) can help in destroying groups of enemies.

The main feature of the young man is that he uses his skill to reduce the enemy's speed. Slowing down is a strong mechanic that provides an advantage in combat, especially against powerful enemies. This character, like physical Sushan, will be a great choice for beginners. However, later on it begins to significantly lag behind damage dealers, which are located at higher positions of the tier list.

Sushan

Sushan (Hunting: Physical)

Role: Basic DPS
Optimal Eidolon: E4

Sushan (Hunting: Physical) is focused on destroying single targets. It is a good starting damage dealer that will help in battle against dense opponents with physical vulnerability. It is quite “fast” and has high skill multipliers, which allows it to remain relevant until the middle of the game. However, a considerable part of the potential is hidden behind the eidolons, and the damage drops noticeably if the enemy’s weakness is not penetrated on a regular basis. At the same time, at later stages, additional problems with closing the endgame modes may arise, especially without legendary equipment and powerful s.

Pioneer (Destruction)

Pathfinder (Destruction: Physical)

Role: Minor DPS
Optimal Eidolon: E6

Pathfinder (Destruction: Physical) — a legendary hero for the starting content. Has balanced stats and abilities that work against one or more targets: the ult allows you to choose to use an enhanced AoE skill or a single blow. At the same time, it combines not only combat mechanics, but also partly healing ones: the technique immediately heals all allies by 15% of their maximum HP outside of battle, which is useful in the "Virtual Universe" or the open world.

This Path for the Pathfinder is a good option only at the beginning of the game, since later the character becomes of little demand, and the versions of other classes are many times more effective (in particular, Harmony and Memory).

Hook

Hook (Destruction: Fire)

Role: Minor DPS
Optimal Eidolon: E4

Hook (Destruction: Fire) — an epic character who wields the element of fire and specializes in setting one enemy (or several targets with the fourth eidolon) on fire. Can deal good damage to single targets and in an area if the skill is enhanced by a super ability. Pairs well with free Asta, which gives a fire damage bonus, which allows the heroine to further increase her DPS.

The Moles boss is quite strong with Eidolons unlocked and legendary gear early in the content, but has fairly average stats that become noticeable as you progress through the game.

Luke

Luke (Non-Existence: Physical)

Role: Secondary DPS, (debuffer)
Optimal Eidolon: E4

Luke (Non-Existence: Physical) focuses on dealing DoT damage to a single enemy by applying Bleeding. The hero's gameplay is built around a set of special stacks called the Will to Fight status. This effect enhances the basic attack, allowing it to deal additional damage if the attack is made on an enemy that is taking periodic physical damage.

The young man is good in battles against bosses in the "Hall of Oblivion" and "Illusion of the End" due to the fact that the damage dealt during "Bleeding" depends on the target's max HP. In addition, he has a high chance of increasing all incoming damage to the enemy after activating the ult, which together makes him a good ally in content against dense mobs. He mainly plays in DoT teams, since in other cases he has more powerful alternatives.

Yukong

Yukun (Harmony: Imaginary)

Role: (buffer)
Optimal Eidolon: E6

Yukun (Harmony: Imaginary) — 4⭐️ free that imposes various buffs: increased attack power, crit. damage/chance. Despite the extensive functionality, the main feature, which is also a disadvantage, is the mechanics of gaining levels to obtain the "Roaring Bowstring" status - it is on this that the work of bonuses depends. At the same time, for each action of one of the team , a level is removed, which forces you to constantly think ahead.

Despite the fact that the character is free, it is quite difficult to implement, especially for beginners. In addition, even with the maximum potential, Yukun cannot be called a relevant , since there are much more versatile and comfortable to use heroes, including epic ones.

Pathfinder (Save)

Pioneer (Save: Fire)

Role: Secondary DPS, Sustain (Shields, Tank)
Optimal Eidolon: E6

Pioneer (Save: Fire) Focuses on protecting his allies. Takes enemy attacks, applies shields to all squad , and deals damage to multiple targets, which allows him to act as an additional source of DPS. For maximum effectiveness, it is important to equip a 5⭐️ Light Cone and unlock all Eidolons. However, it is worth considering that even with the best legendary gear, the character may not be able to maintain the survivability of the team in the late stages of the game without a healer.

March 7 (Save)

March 7 (Save: Icy)

Role: Sustain (shields), secondary DPS
Optimal Eidolon: E6

March 7 (Save: Icy) — a free starting character of 4⭐️ rarity. The main task of the heroine during the battle is to impose a shield on one ally, as well as to inflict additional damage with the help of superpowers and bonus attacks. At the start, she can the squad well, but when ing later story bosses or fighting more powerful enemies, she is often unable to cope with her task alone. As a rule, she is placed together with a healer, and later replaced with a more versatile .

Natasha

Natasha (Abundance: Physical)

Role: Sustain (healer)
Optimal Eidolon: E5

Natasha (Abundance: Physical) — an epic free healer, all of whose skills are aimed at healing and . The girl can heal one ally using a skill, and with the help of the ultimate, restore the health of the entire group. Additionally, it is impossible not to note the ability to remove 1 weakening of an ally.

However, as the game progresses, her healing efficiency begins to noticeably drop compared to other healers, forcing you to look for alternatives.

Tier list system

The hero ranking is based on the latest activities and mechanics. The positions are updated with the appearance of new characters, updates to endgame combat modes and changes to the combat system as a whole.

Character Evaluation Criteria

The basis of the tier list, in turn, is the ratings for different endgame format activities, which are updated once per patch. These include "Hall of Oblivion", "Pure Fiction" and "Illusion of the End". The ranking tables include both epic characters and legendary ones (standard and event). Positions are distributed between categories from S+ to C. The evaluation criteria are as follows:

  • personal experience;
  • optimal team and composition;
  • a hero of maximum level 80 with upgraded tracks and skills to at least level 8;
  • number of eidolons: 0 - for legendary characters, 6 - for four-star units.

In high-level endgame-type modes, it is taken into uniqueness of heroes in the positions initially allocated for them:

  • DPS efficiency: AoE potential for Pure Fiction, single damage for Hall of Oblivion memories, damage versatility for Illusions of the End levels;
  • SUP efficiency: universality of distributed positive bonuses and consistency of their ;
  • DEBUFF efficiency: universality of distributed debuffs and consistency of their .

In addition to narrowly focused ratings, a shooting range based on overall uniqueness of the characters. It takes into the speed with which the hero succumbs to current activities, starting with the story campaign and ending with high-level branches "virtual universe".

Modes such as the Hall of Oblivion, Pure Fiction, and The Illusion of the End are being considered, but in the in a more comprehensive way, since separate tables have been created for them with more “specific” current analyses of positions.

It is worth keeping in mind that the choice of team, relics and weapons has a significant impact. Any character with good equipment can be higher in the list. Especially in the reality of turn-based strategy, their effectiveness varies depending on the specific situation on the battlefield and the tactics used by the player.

Change in ranking positions

As part of patch 3.2 The following changes were made:

Kastoria, as the main DPS, and Anaxa, as a secondary one, took the S+ position.

  • The representative of Memory proved to be good at dealing damage to single targets, and also quickly deals with waves of enemies.
  • The Hero of Erudition has become one of the sought-after figures in groups with Great Hertha due to the mechanics in hidden talents, as well as other heroes due to the ability to apply multiple vulnerabilities.

We hope that the tier list of characters helped to learn more about the heroes and understand their key features. With the advent of changes, new patches and units, the rating of heroes in Honkai: Star Rail will be constantly updated, positions may also change.

How did it happen that Jasper, who had been sitting in the very bottom for a year, became S+? Oo

because of the Great Hertha and the current content on Amphoreus, where a lot of enemies require Erudition characters for mass damage. This is called a meta, which changes with every major update

I think Natasha is unreasonably at the end of the list. She is the hero I took 2 years ago and could not change to someone who would heal better. No, Lochi's one-time heal is greater, but Natasha is a mass entertainer.

Guys, tell me, who knows: Firefly will receive an additional penetration effect from the second eidolon Ruan Mei (increases the attacker's SA by 40% if the attacked enemy has a vulnerability penetrated)?

Allies' attack power increases by 40% when they attack enemies with a broken vulnerability.
Here it says only attack. So? Only the Attack Power hobby.
I don't if other stats affect Firefly. But Eidolon won't give her anything other than attack.

why do you add Kastoria to the tier list, but not Anaxa? they both haven't come out yet🧐

Because Kastoria is coming out earlier and the build for it has already been written. Anaxa is still in progress.

Answer  curl

1) Feixiao, Mojie/March 7 (hunting), Robin, Gallagher;
2) Kafka, Swan, Sampo/Guinaifen, Natasha (because, as I understand it, there are no more adequate alternatives);

Fawkes
Fawkes

Answer  curl

Kafka Swan Robin is some kind of healer. In the top three dot pack builds, the option suggested above, this is relevant if the robin is used in the second squad. Sampo and or Gui in the third slot are much weaker. Better Jiaoqiu without eidolons, this is the 4th strongest dot pack option.
Another version of Dot Pak: Kafka-Zaryanka-Jiaoqiu.
Yanqing is the bottom, you can forget about it.
You can also make a Clara-Robin, and someone else, for example, March 7. If it’s an imaginary March, then the sustain is your choice, if it’s a shield, then you can add some kind of buffer.
You have quite a rich choice for a beginner.
