Alternatively, there are several other ways to infiltrate the circus:
- Kill Klaus and Benji, then open the door in stealth mode or go through the gate with Misty Step.
- Jump over the hole in the fence or enter the circus from the other side.
If you enter without an invitation, some NPCs will try to prohibit you from entering the circus territory or may send a detachment to the gate from its inside.
Conditions for starting the task and tips
To start the quest, go to the stage where the clown Drop in BG3 is performing - during the dialogue you can find out that he is not real. At the end of the conversation there will be a battle, so we will give some tips:

Go to the temple building in northwest Rivington and use the Decorated Wooden Hatch to go down into the basement associated with the quest "Solve murders at the Temple of the Open Hand».
Once you go through the door to the underground, you will find yourself in a small room. Look around to advance further.

Enter through the doors (CS - 15) into the house southeast of the Confused Mermaid, opposite the building with Arai Oblodroy, and go down through the hatch with the Bloody Parchment.

The fastest way to get into the sewers is through the manhole in the road, located northwest of the Confused Mermaid.

The door leading to the Underground City can be opened in two ways:

How to assemble a clown Drop
When you collect all the parts of the dead artist, return with them to Lucretia, to her tent at the End of Days Circus. A hero with an Artisan background will receive a point inspiration for the last collected piece of the corpse.

Reward for completing the task “Find the clown Drop”
As a reward for finding the Drop, Lucretia will give "Gloves of Spell Power" (the attack spell will deal up to 8 additional points of damage, in exchange for a -5 penalty to the chance to hit the target).
