The official of the anime on the social network X published information that the release date of the second season of "After Killing Slimes for 300 Years, I Unknowingly Reached the Max Level" is scheduled on April 5 2025 years. The project has changed studios from Revoroot to Teddy, and Kunihisa Sugishima is now in the director's chair instead of Nobukage Kimura. The title is based on the light novel of the same name by Kisetsu Morita and illustrator Benio.

The story focuses on Azusa Aizawa, who died from overwork at her office job and was reborn in a fantasy world as an immortal witch. The only source of income turned out to be killing low-level slugs and then selling their magic stones, which is what the girl did for almost three hundred years.

As a result of such active work, the heroine received an incredible amount of experience points and unwittingly reached level 99, becoming the most powerful witch in the world. In this situation, Azusa moves to a nearby village, where he decides to work and help others along the way. According to experts of the original light novel, further volumes, on which the second season will presumably be based, increasingly focus on economics and politics, which is very interesting to watch.
