How to solve the jellyfish (cloud steps) puzzles in Genshin Impact in the Golden Apple Archipelago
Swim to the jellyfish on the wavewalker, then fly out of it and jump in on top of a hovering object. If you step on the platform, it will light up. Only a certain number of steps spawn at a time, so you'll have to ignite all the existing ones before new ones spawn.

Where to find cloud steps in Genshin Impact
Cloud stage 1 and 2
Location: Steam Island
Medusa is located to the west of Steamy Island near a small stone shoal. The best way to get there is from the anchorage.
Then turn around and swim a little further to the nameless island - a jellyfish right near the shore.
Cloud Stage 3
Location: Broken island
Teleport to broken island and soar to the west coast. The cloud step is located a little further in the water.
Cloud Stage 4
Location: central unnamed island
From the anchorage to central island between Broken and Steamy swim a little south to find a jellyfish.
Cloud Stage 5
Location: between Broken and Dangerous Island
Move to the island below - the cloud stage is located in the West from the anchorage.
Cloud Stage 6
Location: Dangerous Island
Go to the teleportation point on Dangerous Island and swim right. In the distance, you can immediately see a hovering jellyfish.
Cloud Stage 7
Location: Pudding Island
From the anchorage on Dangerous Island, hold your course to the East. The area is quite foggy and the jellyfish may not be noticed immediately - just swim along the indicated route and find the object you are looking for in the distance.
Cloud Stage 8
Location: Steam Island
This jellyfish can be reached in two ways:
- If you follow the route, the easiest way to get to it is from the previous point - the cloud step is on the water between two islands.
- Another variant - from teleport on Parny Island, run to the anchorage, and from it swim to the mark.
Cloud Stage 9
Location: Steam Island
From the anchorage to the west, circle the area at the top and swim in a straight line until you spot a jellyfish hovering above the water.
