Genshin Impact Weapons and Wings: Chaska Legends Quest Walkthrough

Walkthrough of the Flowerfeather Peacekeeper quest: how to uncover the secret of the new flying machine that caused conflict in the clan.

Chaska Legends Quest: Weapons and Wings in Genshin impact — a personal quest of the peacemaker of the Pyro tribe, in which an important conflict for the Flower Feather clan takes place between the choice of life with the saurians and technical progress. When the flight tests reach their peak, you will unexpectedly discover that they will take place without the cornsaurus, only with special devices on their backs. Find out the truth about the production of the so-called "phlogiston wings" and stop the mindless extermination of the saurians for the sake of technical progress.

In the guide, we will provide an exact walkthrough of the Chaska Legends quest from the chain "Withering Flowers, Falling Feathers". We will tell you how to seal the hole, visit Chaska's "mother" and explore the air workshop.

How to Start Chaska Legends Quest Weapons and Wings

You can unlock the Chaska Legends quest by fulfilling the following conditions:

The quest is out 20 November 2024 on the day of release Flowerfeather Tribe Chronicles.

Once the conditions for starting are met, head to the observation deck next to the Flight Test Arena and talk to ChaskayaIt turns out that the merchants encountered in the previous mission sell the tribesmen "phlogiston wings" that allow them to fly without using cornsaurus.

Although not everyone in the clan s the introduction of such technologies, no one argues that such devices could be very useful. During the dialogue, there will be an opportunity to express your opinion. When Alpa asks: "What do you think about the new invention?", select any of the answer options:

  • "This is a great new product. The sooner it gets widespread use, the better." - This choice will be ed by Koilur, who really liked the new product.
  • "Little is known about it. It should be used with caution." - This opinion will appeal to Mukki, who is against it in every possible way.

This choice will not affect the further development of the dialogue and events in any way.

Trails through the wilderness

During the discussion, a worried Varmi will suddenly appear and report another attack by cornsaurus on a caravan of traders.

Help the caravan

The injured merchants are located a little further along the road to the west, near the statue of the Archon. Get there and intervene in the confrontation between the people and the aggressive zavrianaIt turns out that the attacker is Chaska's "sister".

After Koya retreats, talk to Chaska to see if she's okay. After learning a little more about the peacekeeper's past and her relationship with the Kukusaurs who raised her, take the wounded back to the tribe and talk to Mutota and Elder Alpa.

Return to the Flower Feather Clan and discuss the situation.

Move to the obsidian totem pole and find Mutota nearby. Discuss the current situation with the clan leaders. In order to prevent conflict between humans and the Kukusaurs, the leader asks Chaska to restore the shattered peace in the tribe.

Visit Chaska's "mama"

First of all, Chaska decides to find out the reasons for the attack of her "sister" Koi on the caravan of traders. To find out the location of the aggressive cornsaurus, go to the nest of "mother" Chaska and talk to her.

The Kukusaur's Nest is located on a rocky island northwest of the clan. It is located in shallow waters not far from the shore, so it can be reached from the nearest Archon statue.

Another way to quickly get to the island is to fly in the form of a cornsaurus. Use the mark near the northern clan teleport and fly to the desired place, collecting phlogiston along the way.

Once you find yourself in the quest area, a cutscene will start in which Chimpu, Chaska's "mother", will agree to help and take you to Koi's habitat.

Go to the Koi habitat

Getting to the island where the Koi nest is not easy, as it is located in the ocean far to the northwest. If possible, try to use the Kukusaur form to fly there. If you do not have enough phlogiston, you can move into one of coholosaurus, living on the shore of a neighboring island.

Once you get there, you'll witness the merchants you met earlier hunting for cornsaurus. To stop them, defeat the enemies, then talk to Chaska and the others.

Find out that the hunt for wild cornsaurus was organized by a certain Tepal. The poachers exploit the natural ability of the saurians to process gaseous phlogiston, and the animals die. This entire process is necessary for the mass production of phlogiston wings.

Chasing Death

The investigation of the crime led the Traveler, Paimon and Chaska to the Echo Children tribe, where they need to find Tepal. In order to search faster, they turn to Shilonen for help, who shares details about what the new "flying machine" actually is. The company learns more about what happened and develops its own plan to resolve the situation. Together with Alpa, go to the modified balloon where Tepal is supposed to be hiding and close the hole.

Go to the Echo Children tribe and gather information.

Once the conversation with Alpa and the merchants is over, you will find yourself next to the tribe. Children of Echo, where the wanted Tepal comes from.

On the way to the settlement, meet with Shilonen, who promises to introduce him to Puma, Tepal's mother.

Go to Shilonen's workshop and wait there.

Get to Shilonen's workshop. The easiest way is to teleport to the Children of Echoes totem pole and go from there.

When you meet Puma, you will learn that she has long since renounced her son and that he no longer lives in the tribe. Before leaving, the upset mother will give Tepala's Tattered Notes, which tell about his experiments.

Return to the Flower Feather Clan and discuss the plan.

With a new lead, return to the Flowerfeather Clan. Travel to the totem pole in the center of the settlement and find Mutota and Alpa nearby. Talk to them to figure out how to get to Tepala Air Workshop.

Go to the testing site and talk to Inkanak

The only way to fly high enough is to close three of the four phlogiston gas holes in the testing arena. To do this, head to the observation deck and talk to Inkanak.

Seal the hole

After talking to the Arena manager, you will learn that you can seal the holes by dropping hardened phlogiston on them. However, breaking it is not that easy and you need to attack all the weak points of the stone at once. Visit 3 points in the arena in turn and use the abilities Chaski Seal the holes. You can do this in any order.

Hole 1

When you arrive at the first point, you will find a column of solid phlogiston hanging over the hole.

Use Chaska's skill to fly ("E"), and then perform a charged attack on the shimmering points in the middle of the crystal. Make sure that when charging the strike, all the fragile spots in the phlogiston structure are highlighted.

Hole 2

Reach the second hole and choose a position from which all 4 shimmering weak points on the solid phlogiston are visible.

Just like last time, charge up Chaska's attack and fire when all targets are highlighted.

Hole 3

Get to the next point. Here you will need to collapse two crystals at once.

First, shoot at one of the formations, then change position and attack the second one.

Climb to the top of the mountain

Once all the holes are sealed, head to the top of the mountain where a fairly powerful flow of gaseous phlogiston has formed. After flying up it, talk to Chaska, and then take the hot air balloon to Tepala's workshop.

Time for showdowns

Once at the top, free the Kukusaurs from their cages and explore the aerial workshop to find and stop Tepal. Continue exploring until you come across his notes, in which he documents his entire journey in detail. After reading all the pages, you will come to an unexpected conclusion about the motives and personality of the craftsman...

Explore the Air Workshop

Enter the air workshop and move forward, following the quest marker. After going a little further, free the cornucopia from its cage. To do this, use the bow to break mechanism at the top of the cage.

Since the air workshop area is considered a dungeon, exiting the game during this stage of the quest will throw you back to the beginning, to the mountain with the phlogiston flow under the balloon. To return, go to the place where you got on the balloon and press "Entrance to the Dungeon".

Continue exploring the air workshop

After walking a little forward, fly to the next platform using Chaska's skill and free another Kukusaur by breaking the mechanism above its cage.

After the cutscene where you read the journal with notes on Tepal's research, continue moving deeper into the workshop. Ahead you will encounter a mechanism that, when hit, will create an air flow. Attack it, fly up and land on the small platform ahead.

Between the current and next platforms there are two turrets floating in the air that will attack when they get close enough. Take them out with a bow from afar or with Chaska's attack while flying.

Once you reach the large platform, collect your reward from rich chest on right.

Once you reach the large round area, defeat all the enemies, then examine the bookshelf nearby and study Tepal's notes.

Continue following the quest marker. Glide forward to the platform with the large building, enter it and free another trapped Kukusaur.

Climb the ladder behind the cage to the top, destroy another interfering turret and fly to the next platform.

Once inside the building, attack the mechanisms in the center and on the wall. After you break the one on the floor, the game will give you a hint on the screen: "It looks like it's stuck on something. Maybe we can try using the device on the wall.".

Collect the reward from the unlocked rich chest and fly out on the air flow through the hole that opens in the ceiling.

Conquer the Alp

Once you reach the large platform with the circular arena, a cutscene will start in which Alpa will appear. Find out that she is Tepal's real mother and continues to work on his invention after her son's death.

After the conversation, the battle will begin. The easiest way to win is to attack Alpa with a charged attack from Chaska's flight. It is enough to make 2-3 shots and the battle will be over.

After winning, watch the final cutscene and return to the Flowerfeather Clan. Talk to Chaska and the others, and then the quest will be complete.
