The girl promised to marry the most powerful knight, and if Perenieri was not interested in this, then Chleoland fell in love with Angelica and became not himself.
The man tried in every possible way to impress her, which ultimately led him to madness. Perenieri believed that to save his friend it was necessary to kill Angelique. After a fierce chase, the trio left the kingdom, but at that moment the Kaenri'ah disaster occurred, in which Chleoland became a victim of a curse, and the main character remained free, since he was a wanderer from outside.
