How to unlock the smelting furnace
To unlock the smelter, build a settlement and upgrade it to at least level 9. For this you will need:
- Cactus×15;
- Obsidian×15;
- Faceted amber×10.
The cactus grows throughout the desert and is mined using blue ax, obsidian can be found in lava caves, and cut amber can be crafted from ordinary amber, which is found on rocks in a hot biome. When you reach level 9, a blueprint for a smelting furnace will open.
How to make a smelter
The Smelter in LEGO Fortnite is made from the following materials:
- Lavolite×15;
- Obsidian block×35;
- Powder core×3.
To extract the first 2 resources you will need to craft a rare blue pickaxe and go to the lava cave. The powder core is obtained there, from the demolition worker.
