Trace to the source in "Belobog" and take part in the search for a prototype of smart machines used by the plant for construction. Go to the expected location of the automaton and pave the way to it together with Grace, Kolyada and Anton.
In this guide, we will tell you how to complete the Trace to the Source quest and find the prototype in ZZZ, as well as power three construction machines and turn off the prototype, defeating the Unknown Infection Complex.
How to start research Trace to the source
Order Research The trail to the source in Zenless Zone Zero opens automatically during the main quest line if the following conditions are met:
- availability 26 levels Internota or higher;
- completed previous story order "Chasing the Fugitive".
Go to the construction site and talk to Kolyada to add the order to the HDD, and then return to the video store and start the test in the “Main Line” tab through the Full Immersion System. A trial command will be available to complete:
- Anton (Assault, Electro);
- Kolyada (Intimidation, Fire);
- Бен (Defense, Fire);
- Grace (Anomaly, Electro) will later.
You can set up a squad yourself, but please note that agents are recommended for participation electrical and ethereal attributes.
Walkthrough of the quest Trace to the source in Zenless Zone Zero
On the research order playing field, activate three construction machines in ZZZ, wisely paving the way, and find the prototype of a smart machine created by Kolyada’s escaped father Horse Belobog.
Drive three construction vehicles
Having appeared in the action area where Belobog has already positioned its working machines to search for a prototype, begin the age by making the following moves:
- From the starting point, go down to the dilapidated wall blocking the path to the left side of the field. Upon entering one of the cells along the way, a secret cell will open with a box of supplies. Pick it up and continue moving.
- Once at the wall, wait for Grace to start her car and destroy the barrier. Continue moving through the cells to the cell with the magnifying glass icon. Having opened a new part of the location, go upstairs to the gray TV, collecting the first surveillance data.
- Management will into the hands of the proxy. Using the four levers that appear, you will have to control one of the Belobog automatons. Use the directional adjustment by moving to one of the switches to direct the robot in the appropriate direction.
- The first machine, according to Grace's instructions, is capable of destroying walls, but can be easily damaged by bombs. Press the switch from above: start moving up, one block short of the edge of the field. Then press right and the car will go right towards the blue squares.
- Before heading to the finish line, rise a little above and pick up the purple supply box. Then go down and place the automaton on all four blue cells with the game logo.
- Return to the part of the field where the age began. Climb up the corridor that appears and again go to the gray cage with the inscription, simultaneously picking up the second surveillance data.
- Once you have control of the second robot, start making your way again. Be careful, this automaton can move through bombs, but can be damaged by stone walls. Go left to the brick cages, and then go all the way up.
- Head to the top left corner and grab the second purple supply crate before heading to the finish line. Then go down and stand on all four blue squares at once.
- Having finished dealing with the cars, rush to help Grace, who was attacked by opponents in the lower part of the field. The team will face several waves of regular and elite ethereals. Defeat all enemies in the zone to advance further.
Turn off the prototype
After defeating the monsters, the search party will receive a signal indicating the location of the prototype automata. To find it, follow these steps:
- Go to the cell marked with a green frame with a portal leading to another level of the location.
- Walk down to third observation data and go upstairs through the healing zones. At the end of the corridor, a secret cage will open with a golden box of supplies. After picking it up, go to the giant cage on the left side of the field.
The action will take the team to Pioneer Square, where plant workers will find a lost prototype robot. When you try to take it from the huge monument, a dangerous ethereal will emerge and take control of all the automata.
How to defeat the Unknown Infection Complex
A boss fight will begin with the Unknown Infection Complex in the form of a giant robot. In total this enemy will have three phase. In the first, the automaton will fight primarily in close combat and fire projectiles towards the active character. Dodge attacks in time, watch for the appearance of yellow and red flashes on the screen, and counterattack the enemy to reduce his HP to 0.
In the second phase, the battle will become more difficult due to more powerful and prolonged attacks of the robot. In this phase, try to use Kolyada more often, as it is more maneuverable on the battlefield and is capable of making very fast attacks. Continue to watch for flashes and also look out for red marks on the ground, indicating an incoming air attack. Leave the highlighted area to avoid taking massive damage.
There will be no point in fighting in the third phase. Wait until the HP of one of the agents drops to a critical level to trigger a cutscene in which Kolyada, controlling a prototype robot, will come to the aid of the team. The plant workers will defeat the Unknown Infection Complex, after which the order will be completed.
