The 2025 Lantern Rite will begin in the second half of the year. updates 5.3, January 24 2025 years, and will last until February 9.
How to open an event
In order to participate in the event and open its storyline, you must fulfill the following requirements:

The main event 5.3 is represented by three festive mini-games in which players will have to demonstrate their ingenuity, strength, and creative thinking. As part of the Lantern Rite 2025, you can participate in the following modes:

Battle of the Immortals
A mini-game made in the style of a classic 3-in-a-row with elements of Tetris. Challenge familiar characters to a duel and engage them in battle on the playing field. Destroy areas with identical figures to strike your opponent. The more cells are cleared, the more damage the attack will cause. Watch out for falling blocks and adapt to the situation to create more areas available for collection.
War game over lanterns
A classic combat test where you have to enter the arena and fight strong opponents within the allotted time. Complete the assigned battle objectives and select the appropriate stratagems for your squads to activate short-term damage bonuses and deal with enemy units on the field faster. The final number of points, which affects the size of the rewards received, is calculated using a special formula based on the number of defeated opponents and stratagems used, the time spent, and the selected difficulty.

Personalized gift envelope
Create cards for friends all over Teyvat. Accept requests and follow the customer's wishes and instructions, placing various decorative elements on the paper. Once all the character's requirements are met, the created card can be sent to the recipient.

Go to the annual Lantern Rite, meet old friends and make new acquaintances. How to get the Holiday Rush
holiday excitement – event currency that can be obtained for performing various activities during the event. Take part in the main plot of the event and complete stages of the tests to earn a certain amount of points needed for exchange in the in-game store.

Upon reaching 1500 Festive Frenzy points in the event exchange shop, you will have the opportunity to pick up the main prize - an epic skin for Xiangling "New Year's Fun".
