Teleport to moon or vice versa. Although beginners will have to move from the spaceship to objects on their feet, but over time they can use the teleportation system. It can save time, as well as save in an emergency and help avoid the death of a comrade.
At first, it’s hard to understand the two mechanisms: how they will help the team, how to install them. In this guide, we will tell you how the teleport works, and we will also look at where to buy it and whether it should always be used when exploring complexes.
Where to buy teleport
The only way to get a teleport is to buy it in a store. Both types are quite expensive, so you may have to make a few trips to save up. In a separate guide they described in detail, how to sell thingsto earn more.
Interact with terminal on the spaceship and enter the command "store". If you scroll down a little, you will see the necessary items in the “ship upgrades” section at the following cost:
- Teleporter: 375 credits.
- Inverse teleporter: 425 credits.
If you want to buy them, enter the name of the improvement ("teleporter" or "inverse teleporter"), and then the command "confirm"to complete the operation. Afterwards, the mechanisms are automatically installed on board - you will see them behind you, as well as a control button on the adjacent table.
How to use teleport in Lethal Company
Keep in mind that there is an important difference between the two types of teleports:
- Normal teleport - gray in color, transports the player back to the spaceship.
- Reverse (inverse) teleport - bright yellow, instantly throws the into the object.
Select the squad member you would like to bring back on board and monitor him via the monitor using white button. She will switch between the entire team until you settle on a specific person.
Then press red button on the table, then the selected is teleported back to the ship.
After teleportation, the timer starts counting down 10 seconds, after which the device can be used again. While this is a great way to save your teammates, it's worth considering that teleporting you will lose all items, so it's best to use it only as a last resort.
How does reverse teleport work?
To send, click on yellow button and step into the bright yellow teleporter while it spins up and gets ready. You don’t even need the participation of a second player here - you can send yourself.
Please note that teleporting back to Lethal Company may leave the player completely random place in complex. This is a risky method - it’s hard to get to the rest of the team or to a safe place, but you can easily find yourself alone with a dangerous monster or in a dark room with traps.
Is it worth using teleport?
While teleports are a great escape option when enemies are surrounding your team, they do have their drawbacks. Any items/resources held by the teleported player are lost during transportation. In this case, you will lose your hard-earned scrap and all the equipment you bought from the store.
Additionally, teammates are still in danger while the teleporter has a 10 second cooldown. When making a rescue decision, the coordinator must assess who is at greatest risk.
Reverse teleport is best for exploring new areas. Its random location feature allows you to quickly scope out an area without wasting time running around. However, the risks in this case are high - being left alone in an unknown place can be very dangerous.
It's better to use a reverse teleport along with a regular one, so that your comrade can be returned if he lands in a terrible place. Consider inverse teleport more of a fun addition to the game than a useful tool.
