What are the keys of Chenyu Valley for?
There are a large number of mysteries hidden in the Chenyu Valley, the solution of which may require performing a chain of actions and obtaining special items. The latter include various keys. Some of them are needed to open any grate or cage where treasures are located, others can be used to unlock chests and get hidden achievements.
Where to find all the keys in Chenyu Valley in Genshin Impact
In total, five springs can be found in the Chenyu Valley. They can either just lie somewhere in locations, or fall out of chests or be given out when completing world quests.
Rusty key
Travel to the ruins west of the Chizhang Wall, in Southern Chenyu Hills, to find the Rusty Key. Move southeast from the Geo Archon Statue and pick up the glowing object lying among the stones on the left side. Use the key to open the metal grate in the northwest nearby. In the room behind it you can get one spiritual carp.

Spare key for Wangshan Hall
To obtain the Spare Key of the Vashnan Hall, you must complete the world quest "True Mastery of the Spear and Sword".

Strange key
A strange key is in the area Upper Chenyu Gorge. Teleport south from Mingyuan Mountain and head southwest to the slope near the water. In the surrounding area you will find a treasure thief named "Who am I?" — defeat him and take the required item from the corpse. The key is needed to open the cage with the sacred simulacrum, located nearby - place it in the right place, for which you will receive a precious chest.

Ancient city key
An ancient city key is given for solving a puzzle with Jade incense tripod at the teleport to the west of Yaode Valley. Light two incense burners by the power of the Adepts and open the rich chest in which you will find the desired item.
Take it to the stone tower in the southeast of the Chizhang Wall. There is a room inside the building, the entrance to which is blocked by bars. Open the door with the key to get precious and normal chests, as well as the achievement “How the endless wall was built”.

Forgotten keys
You will find two Forgotten Keys along the path southeast of Linman Mountain. The first key is hidden next to the tent near the teleport in a hole that you need to explore and get the item. The second forgotten key lies along the road to the west of the previous one, near the miasma. Forgotten keys will be needed to open the precious chest. It is located near the location with the first key and allows you to receive valuable rewards.
